Decent milk for the price. That's about all I can say. it performed its role as a vehicle for cereal. Side note for lactose intolerant southerners. DO NOT use lactose free milk for biscuits and gravy. It is awful. oddly sweet and definitely not something anyone sane would ever want to ingest. FYI
this great value lactose Free "store brand" milk is the best i have had. great value milk is a great "alternative product" to lactaid brand milk. myself i do think lactaid milk tastes a little better but the great value lactose Free milk is super close in both taste and thickness. the taste is really close between great value brand and lactiad milk, meaning if you like lactaid milk you will like the great value milk. good job by walmart with this Lactose Free great value milk its cheaper then lactaid and a much better value so keep making it!
I can't say enough about this great value lactose free milk, it tastes so good that even my grandson drinks it in a cup and he's not one that likes milk unless it's chocolate or strawberry. I was so surprised when he asked if he could have a cup of my milk, that's the only kind I buy
My husband and grandchildren drink this. the drink a carton in 1 1/2 days. So basically 4 a week. Unfortunately it's much higher than regular milk so it definitely hurts the wallet. But if you're lactose intolerant, they Love it. Also here at Walmart it's way cheaper than most ALL grocery stores.
I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between this lactose free whole milk and regular whole milk except this seems to be sweeter in a nice way. Lactose intolerance can develop with age; this product helps me still enjoy cold cereal with milk and other foods using milk without suffering discomfort....
I have been a milk drinker all my life four years ago I found out a lactose intolerance, and I was afraid that the substitute milks lactose free would taste like crap But I was wrong. This taste just like milk and I know what milk taste like. I’ve been drinking it for 70 years. I recommend this product if you are lactose intolerant.
to be honest this is the first time I've ever bought lactose free milk. I've tried oatmeal and almond milk and did not like the texture nor the taste but this lactose-free milk taste like regular milk. and I added bonus I feel like it stays fresher longer I don't know if it's because it's in a milk carton and not a jug but either way I like it a whole lot better and so does my stomach.
Lactose Free Milk is so much easier on the stomach and the Great Value brand is a good price and is so delicious!! Also, last much longer than regular milk. Stores easy in out door in the fridge, just the right size for 2 or 3 cartons. The chocolate lactose free milk is also very good!
Substituted (2) 1/2 gallon cartons for a 1 gallon jug, which ended up costing me nearly twice what the gallon jug cost. They attempted to call me, but the phone rang only twice before they hing up. 2 rings is not enough. I am in my 80s and arthritic, unable to run across the room fast enough to get to the phone before they hung up. I did not see an option, on your app, for me to return their call. As a result, I got stuck paying much more for my lactose free milk than was expected. I have to live on a very tight budget. I cannot afford to have your shoppers pick out more expensive items as substitutions for products I choose. Should I put that in a note? If I do, will they actually read it? You may think I'm being petty. I'm not. Whenever I have to pay an increase on grocery items, I have to reduce another item, to stay within my means. Cutting back requires me to eat less food. I have cut back to 2 small meals a day already. I am not overweight. I wish to maintain my present weight, for my health. To do so, I cannot have shoppers trading less expensive items for more expensive choices or hang up after my phone only rings twice. I will type NO SUBSTITUTIONS! on a note from now on and pray they read it.
I only order this item because the Walmart store in Somerset KY never orders enough Fairlane Milk to keep the item even somewhat in stock. Why offer it because it’s constant disappointment. I just expect better from Walmart and the quality and taste on this GV item isn’t even close!
