We love these eggs, always fresh, never break in the carton but are easy to crack and peel the shells when cooking or baking with them, love the consistency of this brand. These egga are a must have on my shopping list, perfect for omelettes or whatever else you wanna make with them. Excellent source of protein.
I ordered eggs. I received eggs. There were 12. They were not cracked or broken. So far I have used 9 and yolks have appeared fine. I did not eat them, but the man who did described them as "eggy." Direct quote: "All said they were very much egg. I hope this helps. hahahhaa are you writing a review?"
As long as you check the carton for for cracked or fully broken eggs before you buy them, these have always been my go to. If I'm going to purchase farm fresh organic, I live rural so I don't buy those in the store, I buy those locally. These are what I normally buy. They're pretty good eggs.
I sent this entire order to my disabled sister in another State. Sometimes she needs a little help. Everything was fresh and she loves it. Thank you Walmart PLUS for (same)day delivery, even if it's eight HUNDRED MILES AWAY . YOU literally SAVE MY SISTERS LIFE at times.
I keep these eggs around as a simple everyday option, and they’ve been good quality with a pleasant, classic egg flavor. The carton includes 12 large white eggs, and they feel like a practical staple for regular meals and cooking. What I appreciate most is that the shells usually arrive intact and the eggs tend to stay fresh in the fridge for quite a while. The shells feel sturdy, but they’re still easy to crack open and also simple to separate the egg whites from yolks when prepping recipes. They’re easy to work into different meals. My family enjoys them for breakfast, brunch, baking, and quick breakfast style lunches or dinners. I’ve also used them as a great alternative way to add protein to my diet. These are USDA Grade A eggs, and I like that they’re low in sodium with no trans fats or sugars. They also contain small amounts of nutrients like vitamin D and iron. There isn’t anything fancy or unusual about them, and they’re not a specialty or organic option. They’re just straightforward eggs that have been dependable, tasty, and consistently useful to have on hand. There are also several ways to prepare these eggs in a way that's a bit healthier, such as separating the yolk and egg whites and only eating the egg whites. You can also try cooking them in olive oil, coconut oil or avocado oil rather than butter. They're easy to prepare and cook, and these eggs are extremely versatile, as there are tons of different ways you can prepare them, such as scrambled, over-easy, sunny side up or frying them up in omelettes. You also can boil them to make hard-boiled or deviled eggs and they also work great in recipes that call for eggs, such as egg salad, egg sandwiches, or other baked goods such as cakes. They taste good and really live up to the Great Value brand name as they tend to be competitively priced and consistently sold at a lower cost than other comparable brands of eggs. Overall, my family really enjoys these eggs for everything from baking, cooking, or eating just the eggs on their own.
I have been buying Walmart brand eggs for years. No problems. Until the last two orders. At least 2 of the 12 eggs are noticeably smaller than the others. If this is Walmart’s way of “shrink-flation” it’s unacceptable. BE BETTER, Walmart!!
I understand where eggs come from however when buying at a grocery store I expect them to be clean since they’re not fresh. Fresh eggs are not near as old therefore contamination doesn’t bother me like it does with store bought eggs that’s are not fresh and the poop has had an opportunity to penetrate the pores of the eggs.
These are the best priced eggs and you do get a good amount for your money. However, they are definitely not eggs from "happy" chickens, and you can tell by the paleness of the yolk and overall bland flavor. I buy these mainly for baking or if I need to make a lot of deviled eggs for a holiday, but I pay the extra for the eggs from cage free or pasture raised chickens whenever possible because they taste better, are more nutritious, and make me feel better as a consumer to support.
I don’t think the clerk getting that’s getting my to-go order together bothers checking the eggs for broken ones, because the last 2 times I ordered eggs I’ve had several cracked ones in each dozen. It’s frustrating to find broken eggs and having to try to pry the other eggs out of the carton or having to put them into a bowl and tear up the carton to get the unbroken eggs out. I don’t like paying for something I can’t eat!!!
Most of the eggs were broken. The price on the eggs was great and I was very pleased until I started using them. Out of 2 dozen eggs, there were 11 or 12 that were cracked or broken. Not such a great deal after all. I definitely will not be purchasing them again and will think twice before placing another Walmart pick-up order.
