Great Value Lasagna with Meat Sauce, 12 oz

Another potluck dinner. Bought the family size to serve 15 seniors. Went well. Couldn't cook family size for self but then found these single servings. Now I prefer lots of meat protein, so micro wave some Great Value Homestyle Meatballs to add. Also make a simple tossed salad to make a complete and balanced meal. Don't forget some fresh deli rolls to sop up the sauce on plate. But be assured the star of the dinner is the lasagna!

This was much better than i expected. The portion size was good. The taste was good. it was easy to bake. and there is a microwave option too. i had bought this as an "emergency " meal, it was good enough to make it a planned item.

y husband and I are 81 -94 years old. We purchase this quite often because, the price is right and it it is affordable, ithe sauce is very good, and it is very easy to heat. We use both the meat and cheese lasagnas.

For under $3 it's a great small meal. I think everything about it is better than the leading name brand. Great Value products don't usually disappoint.

Wasn't as good as I remembered. Maybe it is a different version. Just seemed to be missing something. But definitely quick, convenient, and good price.

Why should an Italian pasta dish taste sweet? All that sugar puts me off. It is easy to prepare and it has ample meat in the sauce, but not enough cheese. I added more cheese on top to get that nice chew but the sweetness made this an underwhelming experience.

Before I give you the reason why I rated this GV Lasagna with Meat Sauce 3 stars 1/18/26 I want to tell you that the GV Pasta Sauce is my favorite sauce in frozen dinners. I buy Spaghetti, five cheese Lasagna and sometimes Meat Sauce Lasagna and I would give 5 stars for these. This is the only time recently that the sauce on the Meat Sauce Lasagna was overwhelming with the sauce, meaning that it was Too Much Sauce and was disappointed with my dinner. I ate half of it and throw away the rest. I hope they (GV) haven't changed their recipe. I will wait a little time before I order the Meat Sauce Lasagna again.

Easy to prepare, microwave for 6 minutes. But, extremely greasy with a very sweet, sugary taste to the sauce. Noodles maintained a nice, soft texture during cooking. Generous amount of meat and cottage cheese in sauce. Overall, way too greasy for me.

Horrible! Tasted like ketchup and noodles with a hint of ground beef and cottage cheese. Thought I could get it down bc I was hungry, but 3 bites and I gave up. Took longer to get heated, too. I used one box in a 350 preheated oven for 42 min and still just warm at center.

Not the one that I ordered, but I tried it. The texture of it was really gritty and it didn't cook evenly. It burnt on the sides and then was still like cold in the middle.
