These filters fit the Great Value water pitcher. They are economical. I have very harsh, foul tasting sulphuric water, and these not only eliminate harsh minerals, but even eliminate taste and odor! When you find a product that works as well or better than their name brand counterparts and at a big savings too, it's a no-brainer to buy it. This is that! These lead removal pitcher filters are about 4 1/4” tall and about 2” wide. They perfectly fit in most of the name brand water filtration pitchers and dispensers. They are very easy to use. Soak the filter fully submerged upright in tap water prior to use for at least 15 minutes. Flush the filter for 15 seconds under running tap water then drain the excess water. Slip the flushed filter down into the available opening in the top of the filter pitcher or dispenser until it seats securely. When you pour in the water to be filtered, pour the water in the container to the side of the filter never directly on top of the filter. Wait for the water to filter through the filter. Use the first two quantities of filtered water to water plants or discard. Filter life of 2 months. Reduces 58 contaminants and substances. Great product. Very satisfied with the results.

I have had a great value water pitcher for a while now, and it recently got harder and harder to find replacement filters. I was very excited to find these again. They fit my pitcher perfectly and the water has the same great taste as always. No issues with using them as long as you follow the directions, otherwise you may have some black specs in your water. I have no complaints from the pitcher or the filters, and the value compared to the more expensive brands is unbeatable.

Had to purchase online cause it was discontinued at the Blairsville Pa store. Would love to see it back in the store for me to purchase.

they're a little shorter than the brand name but fit the pitcher i have good. i noticed that during the pre soak there weren't any residue in the water like the brand name ones. They work as expected and the great value brand is a great alternative to the expensive ones.

am surprised as to how well the taste lot better than before ----- our town water has a horrid taste

I don't like these filters. The water passes through them extremely slow. Much slower that the Britta long lasting filters.

Water does not flow through this filter. A half pitcher takes an hour to filter through. And , yes, this is the proper size filter for my size pitcher.
