Ok so I love these LED indoor floodlights. I know they are advertised for directional indoor floodlights but I actually use them all over my house in my can lighting fixtures. They have a really short neck on them so they hide very well in the cans and yet the amount of light they put out is awesome. The brightness on these is 500 lumens or equivalent to 50 watts. The best part is they only use 5.5 actual watts. And if your house is like mine and you have can lights everywhere, that makes a really big difference in your electricity bill. I use these in my newly renovated kitchen, in our high ceiling foyer and in my bathroom. I'm not a fan of the indoor floodlights that show because they stick out of the cans. It can be blinding when you have 6 of them together. As my old lights have burned out I have been replacing them all with these. They say that last nine years. I hopes that's true what I can tell you is that none of mine have burned out. Hopefully they are still working when we sell the house in a few years. I highly recommend these for your home.
These bulbs are worth whatever they cost. They will repay for themselves with the electricity saved. Really bright white light. I was surprised to find the LED lamp enclosed in a glass envelope. Great weather protection and heat dissipation. These should be on your list for replacement or first time purchase bulbs. I really like them and bright 75 Watt bulb only consumes 10 watts! WOW!
Arrived well protected in perfect shape. LED bulbs like these are the only kind to use for very low energy useage and long life. 75 WATTS OF LIGHT FOR ONLY 10 ACTUAL WATTS USED. LONG NECK SHOULD FIT MOST FIXTURES. 40 degree beam will be good in some applications
I love these lights. They don't overheat like some bulbs do. The light itself is soft but you can complete your task using these bulbs. I put them in as soon as they came. I would definitely continue to use them because you don't use to much energy and you'd think the size would be a factor in that and it's not! So if you're looking for an energy efficient flood light give these a try!!
When I ordered these I thought they would be the standard plastic LED floods I have bought in the past. So when they arrived and I found out they are glass , I was pleasantly surprised. They were a little smaller diameter then my other bulbs so they wouldn't match, but I had the perfect spot for them . I have a counter with two stand alone recessed lights above it . So the two bulbs went in there and I didn't have to worry about them matching the rest of the bulbs in the kitchen and living room. I really like the light. It is brighter than my others but also a warmer light. Not as white . My old lights I found myself dimming all the time because they were just too bright. These are bright but not obnoxius. Clear as mud? I recommend them.
I loved these bulbs. I used in a pole lamp that I have had for awhile. The lights were bright without being too hot. They are easy to use, but are a bit larger than standard sized light bulbs. I use this pole lamp that is on a timer when I go out for dinner or out with friend's and it really lights up a room and gives it a great ambiance. This is a product that I will definitely be purchasing in the future. I am glad I got to try them and had a positive experience.
I did not expect it to be so bright. I haven't had this bulb longer than a couple of weeks so I haven't had a chance to determine how long they will last however they are really bright. We are using it in our front entrance and there is no way anyone can hide out there. We also appreciate the brightness because we have motion-detecting lights so at night when something moves out there we can clearly see what it is in our security camera. our previous lights still left us guessing.
I like the LED light bulbs because they are energy savers. I have dimmable flood lights in my basement that are not LED. Some LED lights are too white/bright. They are like fluorescent lights. I prefer the soft white which these light bulbs are. These bulbs are quite heavy. They are 75 watts but 10 actual watts are used. I haven't tried them in my “high hat” lights yet. I did compare it with a 60 watt bulb in my lamp. To me, the 75 watt LED seemed to throw off the same brightness as the regular 60 watt light bulb. Will have to compare it to my flood lights in the basement. I would recommend the LED lights because it uses less energy.
I thought I was ordering outdoor flood lights when I ordered these. They are indoor. My mistake. They seem to be working fine. I do recommend them for indoor use. They put off a nice clear light. I've made this mistake before and the indoor bulbs just didn't last as long as the outdoor ones. I'm sure it'll be the same for these. I don't get severe weather where I live, so I think they just get used up quicker outside.
I ordered one box and it came with one broken bulb. I exchanged it, and the replacement had 2 broken bulbs. Only 1/4 of the bulbs I received worked. The packaging is too flimsy and the glass is bound to be broken.
