I can't say enough about these light bulbs. I have a fairly dark house because not a lot of light gets in and these really lightened it up. I was trying to put a bulb in the kitchen light and literally dropped the bulb from about 7 ft in the air onto a hardwood floor and it didn't break, it just bounced. And it still worked. Still TBD if it will last 9 years or more. Love these.

My deck is near a window, the lamp is close to the window coverings...for years is was my main thought as I left to go out, that I turn off the lamp to keep the hot bulb from starting a fire. When I saw this Walmart item LED light bulbs that are cool to the touch I ordered a box. Have never been happy with the spiral light bulbs, this LED bulb looks like a regular bulb, but is cool to the touch, does not radiate heat , like regular bulbs. The bulbs give me peace of mind. The price is a value item

Can't tell you how long they will last with normal usage, as I just got them recently. But these are nice and bright. A white light see my picture I show them on the bottom two of a lamp the top more yellow light is from a different bulb to show a comparison to the difference in light brightness and color. Fit well easy to apply.

I bought enough of these to replace all the bulbs in my house. I like that they are energy efficient and will save money while lasting much longer so I don't have to change them ofter especially because I have 10 foot cielings so changing a bulb is a job.

I like this lightbulb as it gives off a nice, bright glow. I have a beige lampshade and it shines nicely through it. It resembles a regular lightbulb but with a white base. No trouble with screwing it into the socket. Look forward to having this lightbulb for years to come.

These are great light bulbs, So much better than incandescent bulbs. First they produce great lighting without the heat. Second they do not use as much energy as the old bulbs and third they do not shatter if you happen to drop it. The bulbs also last a lot longer than incandescent bulbs. So you can't lose with these bulbs. They do cost a little more to buy but the money you will save on energy and not having to replace them nearly as often pays for them. The light they produce is a clean bright light and since they do not produce heat you will never get burned if you touch one while its on.

First, I would have rated them higher, if I'd had them longer, although I'm sure they'll be five-star bulbs. My biggest concern was that they would fit in my ceiling fixtures, in my mobile home. They do! I have the overhead fixtures in my kitchen, bath, and hallway that are the round ones with one or two bulbs, and put the first ones in a high, two-bulb fixture in the kitchen. It was the perfect place for an LED bulb. I'm not that tall, even with the stepstool! Not a problem. And I noticed that they use half the power of the CFL bulbs I was using, as well as being beautifully bright. I plan on replacing all of the bulbs in my home with them, as the need arises. I'll be looking for some for my touch lamp, too, and even the night-light. Yes, you can teach an old "cat" new tricks...

These bulbs work very well providing light at reduced energy usage. One issue is that they must be used in areas where there is background noise as their constant hum is annoying. Compared to other brands of led bulbs that I have used, these are loud. Again, if used in an area where there is background noise, there is no problem. But if used in an otherwise quiet area, there a very annoying hum or buss from these bulbs. I listed these a being "recommended to a friend" but only with the stipulations regarding noise.

I will never buy this type light bulb again. I have had them in my lights and they burn out in less then 6 months. They are a waste of money. The box states they last for 6 or 8 years but where do you get your money back. Who saves the box for that long? JUNK

Great bulbs if you enjoy changing light bulbs and within a couple of months buying more. You will start to get a random flicker from time to time then nothing at all. Have had several since previous homeowner had them all over the house. Bought a couple of packs thinking maybe he got some bad ones and the house was built in 2014 that maybe they have been in here since new. From my experience since they have likely been changed about a dozen times or so since they built the house. Will not be buying more. Have had good luck with GE so far. They need to change 9 year claim to 9 hours…..Literally
