I love how the light bulb looks it is pretty cool. This one wasn't bright enough for me to use in my living room, but I think it would work better in a home office or somewhere you prefer a more dim lighting. It does work well the way it is supposed to.
These light bulbs are just the right bright for me. I prefer these brighter bulbs over the amber ones for my dining area. I also prefer these over the compact fluorescent ones that aren't as stylish. The yellow filament in these transparent bulbs is visible when the light is off, adding a nice decorative touch to my lighting fixture. Overall, these are great bulbs for brighter lighting that can accentuate light fixtures.
First of all, I want to say that we only use LED lights because they save money. It is obvious that I can't wait 13 years to see if these bulbs last that long but they do have a 3 year limited warranty. When I saw the bulbs, I didn't think they would put out much light but for a 3 watt, they are fairly bright. I replaced a 9.5 watt LED bulb that was in our living room lamp with this bulb. We have two lamps, so it was easy to test its brightness. Not only was it almost as bright as the other bulb but it cast a cleaner, less yellow light. I like that they are shorter and clear and look nicer in a multi-light fixture. They will fit nicely in our ceiling light fixtures that are covered with glass globes and they will save us money.
I am very happy to have received the soft white LED bulbs. They are great lights and a even better they are energy efficient. We like to use LED in our home most of the time if possible. Not only to save energy but as well the bulb does not heat up like the original bulbs do. I believe that has added extra heat to the house that doesn't need to be there. I chose the soft white since it has a more homey cozy feel than the bright white does. That's just my opinion. They are bright enough to see good but don't make my home feel like an office. The great value brand to me is a plus since you get the great product even without the high end name brand. Saving money to me is key, I like to be frugal when I can. Great bulbs.
I am a fan of LED light bulbs. They are long lasting, reliable, efficient, and do not contain mercury. While it is always advisable to recycle light bulbs, it is not required to recycle LED bubs due to toxic materials. I also feel safer with LEDs in case of accidental breakage. Great Value LED light bulbs fit in normal light sockets and look similar to the classic incandescent bulb. They are also advertised to potentially last for over a decade with a very low operating cost. I have not had the bulbs installed for long enough to verify the longevity; but I can definitely report that they give off great light! I am very happy with Great Value LED light bulbs. I definitely recommend them to everyone.
This bulb was a replacement for a dimmable 800 lumen 43 watt halogen bulb. It appears to have the same brightness and is supposed to last 13 years if used 3 hours daily. It is supposed to save energy compared to regular light bulbs. It seems to be a good quality LED bulb!
I got these led bulbs for my new double sconce bathroom light fixture. It's crystal clear which I like. It's 25 watt equivalent with 15,000 hour life. It says it uses 80% less energy than cfl and halogen bulbs. The color temperature is soft white and daylight. The box has a color coded chart to find the brightness level you want. I like that because I usually find it a bit confusing. It has a 3 year limited warranty and a 10 to 22 year life rounded to a 13 year life and a savings $5.30 per year. It has a lighting facts chart on the side of the box with estimations based on usage. Etc..There is a little more info than I shared I am happy to find this economical brand. It fits my budget and my quality expectations
Since my baby sleeps next to me in her bassinet, I have a lamp on all night and needed a dim light bulb. I tried this (250 lumins) and a 110 lumin bulb. It was hard to tell the difference. Both are bright enough to see well, but dim enough not to disrupt our sleep. But 250 seemed better for now while she's a newborn, because I can see a little better and there's a canopy to block the light a bit. I'll switch to 110 once I move her to her crib. This light bulb is dimmable, but I wasn't able to test that, because my lamp doesn't have that feature.
Great Value Crystal Clear LED General Purpose Bulb, 3W, Soft White, 2 Count There are two light bulbs in this box; they are LED bulbs that are 25 watt equivalent. The box claims they will last 13 years; Wow that's a long time, sounds good to me. Also the box says the estimated energy cost per year in $0.36 that's $5.30 savings a year, so that's good news too. These bulbs are dimmable, I don't have any dimmers but it's good to know. These bulbs are rated for indoor and enclosed outdoor fixtures. I have a small lamp in the kitchen by my laptop so this small wattage light works perfect there.
When the bulbs arrived in the mail, I switched the lights on my lamp then turned on the lamo. It ended up not being bright as my currently LED bulb that has 500 lumens. The ones I recieved has only 250 lumens. I thought I ordered the ones with higher lumens but I guess I was wrong...
