this is the lemon juice i use anytime i need lemon juice. i know that buying lemons n squeezing them is probably more economical, but i find its just to convenient to grab a bottle just to have around.
I love the easy open top on this so that you can just open it and squeeze. You don't have to unscrew the cap and screw it back on the taste of the juice .
The flip lid works great, other brands have hard to use lids. All but one premium organic brand uses lemon concentrate so they are all the same. This bottle will last me 6 months. The disgusting part is the practice of shrinkflation, there is no excuse for this bottle not being a full 16 ounces instead of 15. With Walmart's competitive pricing there is no reason to cheat on contents.
I prefer store brought lemon juice. It seems stronger. Although I buy many brands of lemon juice, mixed with water and sugar. You can tell the differences and potency. This is why I like Walmart brand lemon juice. The taste and smell are exquisite. Afterwards, I can still use the bottle. My mother is coming over for reasons unknown. The end.
I use lemon juice for many things-added to tea-hot or cold. Hot honey lemon tea always eases my congestion. But I add it to my Diet Pepsi, too, along with Mio water enhancer drops. That way I get a different flavor of soda with every can, especially when I also add in cooking vanilla. I keep a bottle by the kitchen sink, too, for when the garbage disposal smells.
Great Value Lemon Juice rivals more expensive brand names. It is bright and lemony and citrusy and I often use this instead of fresh squeezed because the fresh flavor is there. It gives a yummy kick to so many dishes either cooked or eaten as is. It is great drizzled over sauteed GV steamable broccoli florets, roasted veggies, and in lemon chicken.
For the small bottle that's pretty pricey. Seems like they never had a big bottle in hand so then I end up having to pay more for the little one doesn't quite make sense paying more for less. Of course this is in a lot of things just makes it harder for a person who doesn't need a lot to have to pay a higher price.
I am used to the product the bigger bottle. It is in the picture. The before Covid 19 price was $1.25-$1.75 for the big bottle. I did not know they sold a smaller bottles. The smaller one is $1.95. But that is life! But I am glad I can afford the necessary foods. I am very blessed! Happy Easter!
My spouse bought this. I have no idea why. Bottled lemon juice--any brand--is disgusting. Any brand cannot compare to using fresh. I guess if you have to make a large batch of lemonade (like a water cooler full) this would be a good time-saver. But please please please don't use it for cooking or baking. Buy a lemon or two and juice it yourself. It's easy, cheap, and the flavor will be 1000 times better.
No lemon juice in this order. Upon opening the grocery bag which held my carton of 18 eggs I noticed liquid coming out of the bag and found the bottom of the egg carton covered with liquid egg whites. Upon examining the eggs in the carton I found three eggs broken ( not cracked, broken), I cleaned up the eggs that were not broken but feel that I should be reimbursed for the 3 broken eggs.
