Great snack for kids on a long car ride or big kids who want something light and nutritious. Perfect all around go to food snack. It tastes so much better when you pull long strings off the main stick. Not for biting chunks off They call it starting cheese for a reason.
String cheese is one of those snacks that is easy to grab when I want something quick, and I like having these in the refrigerator. The individual sticks make portioning simple, and there is no preparation involved beyond opening the package. I also like that these are the light mozzarella version. They still give me the mild, familiar mozzarella flavor I expect from string cheese, but with the lighter profile. The texture is what makes string cheese fun in the first place—you can peel it apart into strings or just eat it normally when you're not interested in playing with your food. 😂 The 10-ounce bag is a useful size for keeping on hand. The individually packaged sticks make it easy to grab one for a snack, put one in a lunch, or take one along when I need something that doesn't require utensils or preparation. Mozzarella is also a pretty versatile cheese. While I usually think of string cheese as a snack, these can easily be paired with fruit, crackers, or other foods when I want something a little more substantial. They're also handy for putting together quick snack combinations rather than reaching for something sweet every time. I appreciate products like this because they require almost zero effort. No slicing, shredding, measuring, or cooking—just open one and eat. That's especially nice on days when I want something quick but don't want to make an actual meal. If you like mozzarella string cheese and want a lighter option, these are worth keeping in the refrigerator. The individual sticks, mild flavor, and easy-to-grab format make them a practical everyday snack rather than something that needs to be reserved for a specific meal.
I love these! I always make sure I have them in the fridge for a quick sack for my son. He loves them, they're healthy, and quick and easy grab and go snack. They are a decent price and absolutely no difference in taste compared to the more expensive brand names.
Great Value Light Mozzarella String Cheese Snack, 10 oz Bag, 12 Cheese Sticks They are very good, great for snacks. Perfect for watching calories, and they melt well too.
Easier now to make pizza in various sizes. I can shred using my shredder owl set I found a couple of years now from another store but saved my fingers when I can use your cheese packaged this bag saves time and money %26 a treat I use for my 🐶,yes they hear me pealing a package open come running to get a bite or a stick each😁 they look forward to me sharing now these go a long way to keep cheese fresh a easy to store for cooking calcium builds stronger bone strength %26 melts faster too!
Great to grab when you feel like 'something to munch on' but you don't want to search the fridge. Grab and go. PERIOD. Puppers enjoys a string or two as well. It's tasty, but you don't taste it because it doesn't last long if you're a bit hungry! (Like my kid will wolf down 3-4 at one sitting) I'm always buyin' them. It's toothsome, slightly chewy and has a mellow cheese taste. It goes great with some Ritz or other crackers, e.g., "One string pulled off of the string cheese, one bite of cracker", ad infinitum (or until you run out.).
These usually taste good, but sometimes these are firm, other times very soft. Not sure, why they vary in texture, flavor and size, but they do. It's very odd.
My spouse has a very limited diet due to serious illness, and one of the things he can eat is this cheese. We tend to order 3-5 packages a week, and too often wind up with 2-3 despite being charged for the full amount. Other items we order more than two of have the same issue. Come on people. Is counting above two really that hard?
The cheese is fine but the packaging is beyond poor. The cheese sticks are impossible to open without a knife. This has been true for the last two packages of 36 sticks that we bought. I won't buy these again and I can't recommend them just due to the packaging.
I used to like these, but it seems like something changed. they are really rubbery, with no flavor, can't even tell if there's salt. Maybe i used to get a similar package. idk. but these are not good.
