We prefer the Great Value mozzarella sticks for the flavor, texture, and price. We make our own mozzarella sticks using the GV string cheese. We roll them lightly in cornstarch, dusting off the excess. Then we dip them lightly in egg, and then roll in panko bread crumbs and deep fry. Talk about delicious! We get a family's size portion for a little over the cost. Much cheaper than take-out. We also use these atrung cheesw sticks and make our own stuffed crust pizza. Just roll out your pizza crust, put it in your pizza pan, cut the cheese to fit along the edges (no need to cut of using a 9x13 rectangle pan), and roll the edges of the dough twice over the cheese, finish adding the sauce, toppings, and shredded cheese. Make a little garlic butter and brush the outer crust and bake. So easy, fun for the family, and tastes ooey gooey good!
String Cheese has always been a great snack since childhood and still is as we speak. Everytime I go to the market its in my cart!! If not I have plenty of it at home in stock. Trying different brands had me taking chances in what it would taste like? All this time WALMART was the one!!! You win!! Thanks again %26 keep up the great work 👍
Walmarts brand for string cheese is excellent in taste!! We love string cheese in our family as it's a great way to grab a good protein snack and also has calcium!! The taste of this cheese is wonderful and I actually prefer the taste of this one over the big name brand! Just wish it came in larger packs!!!
We've raised on cheese sticks. They're a great little pick me up. It's fun peeling them or just eating them the way they are. You can do so many things with cheese sticks make enchiladas put them in your tortilla make jalapeño poppers. There's just so many things to do with these things.
My family prefers these to the name brand. They taste great and they don't get too soft when taken out of fridge. If you have a picky kid on the spectrum that likes a firm string cheese that strings as pulled apart easily and is easy to open, then this is your string cheese. They also have a good cheese pull if you bread them and fry them up as mozzarella sticks.
I was on the phone with my sister who recently purchased her string cheese at Costco and didn't care for it. I dug into mine as I was putting my groceries away and I raved about how creamy they were. She asked me the name, I told her it was Great Value, and she's going to grab some tomorrow.
I love these for snacks, especially when I'm trying to watch my sweet intake. I love it after work before I go to bed. It isn't too heavy before sleeping and I don't wake up snacking or tummy growling.i love cheese anyway so these are prepackaged for convenience. If I'm on the go I throw one or two in my bag.
Ever since my bariatric surgery I live off string teeth and for the price the value is great. I don't understand the different brands of cheese and why people only go to certain ones with mean brands and take a bunch of money for the same thing because it's just a good piece saying it looks the same. I don't see why people get weird about stuff like that as as bad as people are with the dates and stuff on there on their on their foods if you're Gen X and you're still alive our parents don't care about dates and you ate stuff out of your grandma's basement that she can 20 years ago so Gen X what they did but they turned all the future generations into a bunch of cry babies I have like this so if you're looking for a good deal, this is it
These are always in the fridge. Easy snack, no prep, and they actually get eaten. Good texture, pulls apart like it should, and tastes good without being too much. Perfect for kids, quick grab snacks, or tossing in lunches. They disappear fast around here, which tells me everything I need to know. Nothing fancy, just reliable and convenient. I keep buying them because they just work.
I love this cheese and eat it daily! Its fun to eat - has a great creamy texture - awesome taste - and is great on hot food because it melts so nicely. I eat it right in its stick form as a snack - cut up on salads - shredded by fingers also as a snack - on sandwiches and burritos, and melted in mashed potatoes. Yum! Yum! Yum!
