Delicious maraschino cherries 🍒 and very good and healthy for breakfast or baked goods.. I've used them for everything and definitely will buy more of them later.. they're so much better and cheaper to the brand name in general.. loved the great value product so far and it worked well for me!!!
Great cherries. Very rich red and smell wonderful. They were used on a fancy family dessert. They would be great for garnish for making a Tom Collins or a chocolate sundae. The price was right and there were just enough cherries to make the dessert look Great!
These cherries are very good. They have stems but they pull out easily. We have been using these and the juice in our Diet Coke for making the drinks tastier. I also use them as topping for Desserts and fruit for a side dish. When I was a kid I loved Maraschino cherries just to eat by themselves. I really like the 10 oz plastic jars with the metal tops. After the jars are emptied I will use them for storage etc. I highly recommend these cherries to everyone.
Alright ladies, here's a new recipe that changes everything. Bake a chocolate cake, top it with cherry icing, and put these cherries 🍒 on top. "Chocolate covered cherries" cake 🎂 You know the box of "chocolate covered cherries" you buy... this cake tastes identical to that 😋 You'll impress your guests, and it's a simple recipe. 🤣
These are just the best on ice cream or in a fruit salad. My kids like them on top of a root beer float or a cherry dropped into their soda or ice water. Yummy! I have even sliced them and put them in a cake batter and frosting. And they're great for decorating a cake or cookies.
The nutritional facts says there should be about 27 cherries in the jar. Mine had 18. I just had exactly enough for what I needed but I was nearly 10 cherries short which seems like a huge rip off!! That's almost 1/3rd less than advertised. They also color the liquid they are in because my hands are horribly stained red despite washing them immediately.
Product is fine however it is NOT the product I ordered. Website indicated cherries with NO stems. I received cherries WITH stems. Now I have to pour entire jar into a bowl, remove the stems and put back in jar. Picker should be more observant when choosing products.
I love cherries onbky ice cream at night and I bought these becuase the price was good. However when i went to open the jar the cherries were mushy and had a strong and bad taste. This is the first time I have bought an item from Walmart that I was unhappy with.
These are so gross. I've bought store brand cherries forever and this particular one I've noticed now comes in a plastic jar instead of glass and that's my only guess is to why they have a strong chemical, medicine like taste. They're awful! Trust the reviews that say these taste toxic.
I'll start by saying that I love almost all Walmart branded items but these marachino cherries were eew...they were disgusting. They had an overwhelming chemical taste. Not sure if it was a quality issue with the specific batch I may have gotten but Im not willing to find out as I will not be buying these again. I'll stick with the name brand or Meijer brand of these.
