Great Value Mayocoba Beans, 16 oz

This is one of my family's beans. Nice texture and can be seasoned many ways - let your imagination run wild! I was thrilled to find them at Walmart - they are not readily available in most stores. I highly recommend.

Loved the flavor of these beans, great for soups and goes well with rice.

Thesse Mayacoba b eans are a bargain at the Walmart price. They make marvelous stews and soups and even better refried beans like they do in the Puerta Vallarta area. They are great for people who get gassy with bean products. When you cook them, drain off the liquid to remove phytates and then add fresh water to keep gassy folks comfortable. Great taste!

I made these beans for the first time ever today. Did the overnight soak on them and cooked in the crockpot today . I made a white chicken chili with them. They cook up big and fat and buttery tasting and yummy. They are delicious and I have read that people use them for refried beans. I see a whole lot more potential than that. They mash well but hold their shape really well when cooked. These would really work well in any bean dish. A minestone soup would be wonderful. I think I waited longer than I should have to add these to my pantry! Yum!

These beans are creamy, soft and taste great. Everything I want in a white bean and at a good price.

Wanted to review these because they are lesser known, but deserve your dried bean time. After my first pot , I am a huge fan. They're tender, easy, and delicious. Try cooking them in broth, rather than water. I rarely do Pinto anymore.

If you like white, or light yellow beans with a mellow flavor, then this is the bean for you. We eat all kinds of beans, and really appreciate the light flavor and smooth texture of this bean.

i had never heard of these beans until was glancing through the Walmart site. i am glad i found them. price was right. shipping extraordinary and the taste marvelous! found some recipes on Pinterest and will be ordering more soon!

These beans are delicious. We were able to find them on here a few months ago and stocked up, unfortunately they are outta stock at the moment. Great value, great product. Please bring them back.

I do not know what kind of beans these are but they are not even similar to canary beans. I compared them to the Verde and the Farion, they are smaller, denser, and have no flavor. Same thing with Great Value Northern beans--they are definitely Navy beans, they are not Northerns. I give up with Great Value brand--they stink. I feel cheated out of money and time. I made one package, asked a few neighbors if they wanted the other 3 packages and they wound-up in the garbage. Great Value brand stinks.
