These are great. We often use them for making low carb personal pizzas. They puff up to make a crispy shell when we heat them for 5 min at 375 degrees with a little olive oil sprayed on both sides. Then put pizza toppings on and bake another 5 min.
Really good tortilla for a low carb choice. Cheaper than big names and texture is on point. We buy these pretty much weekly and if they are out of stock, we wait because they are worth it. Save some money.
Only 6 carbs and they taste great. Just warm in the microwave and make a soft taco. Put chicken, etc. on half, fold over and fry both sides. Delicious. Also good to cut up small pieces with your scissors, then saute in a bit of oil and put on a salad or in a taco soup. My son told me about that and I'm sure glad I tried these!
In a world of low carb foods, this is the one I look forward to eating. It's surprisingly tasty! The net carbs are low enough that I can eat 2 burritos and still stay within my carb limit. It's cheap enough it fits my budget.
These far exceded my "great value" expectations. Most of the low carb tortillas on the market have a slightly different consistency and flavor compared to the regular ones. These taste and feel like regular flour tortillas. They also crisp up in the skillet while making quesadillas - which is something that usually doesn't occur with low-carb tortillas. They are also high in fiber content so they are great for the two diabetics in our house. Will definitely buy again!
These low carb tortillas are just as good as the name brand. If not better! I find that they're less "chewy" than the name brand. My only problem was that they were all stuck together. Which I just separated and put them back into the bag. I will be buying these on a regular basis.
I have enjoyed these for a few years now because of the lower price compared to other low-carb brands. Taste and texture are good. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars: The size/diameter is inconsistent. Sometimes they're full size and sometimes they are really small. I just check them for a larger size before buying. Also, sometimes they stick together and when I pull them apart, it ruins one of them, making a hole in it. Tortillas with holes in them just aren't ideal!
i like everything about them except, they stick together so badly that you often tear them trying to separate them. if they didnt stick so bad, i would give them 5 stars. this was b y just one pack, ive ordered them 3 times and all are the same.
The other two big name brands that Walmart does carry taste better and have better nutritional numbers, by far. The Great Value are smaller and thicker, but have less fiber so more net carbs. I buy my low carb tortillas at the big box store that Walmart owns. You can buy the name brand tortillas there for about the same price as these Great Value. The Great Value low carb tortillas would be a great option if they just copied the others. Many Great Value items are as good or better than the name brands, sadly this is not the case here.
I love all things “Great Value” but this was disappointing. I’ve attempted to purchase these a few times and every package has been the same. All tortillas are stuck together and when you pull the apart they rip into pieces.
