Great Value Mild Cheddar Fat-Free Shredded Cheese, 7 oz Bag

Great value for fat free cheese! These are great for my high protein low fat egg white omelets every morning. If your looking for great cheesy flavor, you'll have to get the regular full fat cheddar cheese. Most no fat cheeses will be lacking in the flavor department.

This cheese is excellent for what it is: fat-free cheese. It should not be purchased with expectation of the same creamy texture and mouthfeel of regular cheese. That is impossible to do without fat (or otherwise, all sorts of additived to mimick those properties). Still, this cheese is a terrific light option that packs plenty of flavor and melts nicely. I like it on eggs/in omelets and I can image it would be great for tacos, too. I also appreciate that this is still real cheese - not "processed cheese food" like so many other products. Ingredient list is minimal enough to be recognizable as actual food. Very high in protein. Can't beat price. I would recommend this product!

I love this cheese, not only is it great for low calories but also great for lower fat for someone who doesn't have a gallbladder and needs to be careful on fat content. It taste fine and melts nicely.

This cheese is just as tasty as full fat cheese. All you have to do to get it to melt is rinse the powder off. It's great ingredients for salads or creamy dip and even can add small amounts to sweet dishes that turn savory.

I like that it is fat free. I get too much fat in my diet, so this is one way I can increase my protein intake and decrease my fat intake. I use it on or in anything where I would use regular shredded cheddar cheese.

I don't want to eat the fat that the other cheeses have. Was so happy to find a cheese with reduced fat. The taste is good, but when it melts. It doesn't melt like other cheeses. It has more of a firm texture.

Tastes good and only grades out 'Poor' on my YUKA app but hasn't any hazardous additives like all the others I checked.

I was recovering from pancreatitis %26 needed low fat/fat free options. I love cheese %26 can't do without. Walmart stopped making my beloved reduced fat cheese blocks, so I was stuck with this fat free shredded option. It's not that great just melted on top of something like a baked potato or cold like on salads. However, it is pretty good if you melt it %26 stir it into things like mashed potatoes, grits, chili, egg whites, etc. Please bring back the Great Value reduced fat cheese blocks!!!!

This doesn't taste like cheese. But it will melt in the microwave. I'm on a strict high protein 300 calorie a day diet so this works for me. Great for chicken fagitas with precooked shredded rotiseree chicken breast, lettuce %26 tomatoes. Makes me feel like I'm cheating on my diet but I'm not. Keeps me full for 8 to 10 hours. Works great for losing weight. I've lost 50 pounds so far. Until I discovered this, cheese was not a part of my diet. Especially cheddar. Too high in fat %26 calories.
