Great Value Minced Garlic in Water, 8 oz Jar

This jar of minced garlic is the Absolute Best for the price! I use it in making Spanish rice from scratch and homemade pinto beans. Never a bitter taste. The subtle flavor of garlic is permeated throughout the rice as well as the beans for authentic homemade deliciousness. You will not be disappointed!

next fresh, this is hood for cooking in stews, spaghetti sauces, any types of stir-fry or braised meat/vegetables dishes. in other words, cooked! fir hummus and other non cooked, fresh would probably be preferred. but it's a great product for the price!

If this old, old guy's memory serves him well this is the 3rd, maybe, brand of minced garlic I've tried from the big, bar "W" box store. Guess what? Looks good, smells like garlic, taste like garlic and, I guess it is garlic! So, I boiled some water, put in a beef bullion cube, some of this garlic, fresh diced onions and a patty of the tube burger from the bar W. Made some fresh asparagus w/Hollandaise sauce also from bar W and, all is great! So if you want fresh, minced, garlic that looks, smells, tastes and cooks like garlic at a good price? This is one.

I know a lot of people like to hate on garlic in the jar, but I'm sorry this speeds up the cooking process and leaves food tasting great. I add this to spaghetti sauce or baked chicken and rice recipes and it's so flavorful and delicious. Would highly recommend.

thanks to my quest to eat right according to foods mentioned in the Bible , garlic is high on the list and is supposed to support heart health as well,as ward off intestinal parasites among other things and should be eaten daily-i chose this type for convenience - it is ready for use without the peeling and smashing fresh garlic--- that works for me - - try it - it compares well with fresh garlic and saves a lot of hassle-

I've used it so far in marinara sauces, meatloafs, and marinades and it imparted a nice, strong garlic taste to each of these without adding any off-tastes. And it's aroma while cooking is just as good as the aroma from fresh garlic.

This is so convenient. It's ready out of the fridge. It's so hard to peel a clove of garlic. I'm not good at getting the chopped up pieces small enough. This takes care of both plus your hands don't smell like garlic for a long time. Still has great garlic flavor with nothing added. Lasts a long time.

Not the most potent garlic, but great flavor and excellent price. A more milder garlic if you have ever had the jus from Costco. I actually enjoy this better, finding I have a tendency to overpower my food with garlic lol. Super fresh, and super cheap even considering the lesser strength.

I originally bought this because the name-brand minced garlic I usually order was out of stock, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! I honestly can't tell the difference. The flavor is just as good, and it stays fresh in the refrigerator just as well as the more expensive brand. I use minced garlic in a lot of my cooking, so finding a less expensive option that performs just as well is a win. I'll definitely continue buying the Great Value version. Great quality at a great price!

I keep a jar of this minced garlic in the refrigerator because it makes cooking so much easier. It saves me from peeling and chopping fresh garlic, especially when I am trying to get dinner done quickly. I add it to pasta sauce, vegetables, soups, marinades, and any meat dishes. One teaspoon is a good starting point, then I add more depending on the recipe. The 8-ounce jar lasts a while and is a good value for the price. Very good product and convenient.
