Great Value Mixed Nuts, 14.75 Oz.

This is a good value for the amount. Nuts are just sky high. I usually buy mixed nuts from the dollar store due to price but​ when I noticed these at Walmart ( I hadn't seen these before, not sure if new or not sold at my store) I bought. They are definitely​ comparable to dollar store quality but bigger can at Walmart. There are mostly peanuts vs cashews, almonds, walnuts, etc. But I think they are still an excellent value. Let's eat a few more mixed nuts and a little less donuts.

Never been disappointed in the Great Value brand, especially the nuts. Very good, lots of pecans, Brazil nuts, walnuts, almonds, etc & some peanuts too. Cheaper than the "name brands" & just as good, if not better. Try the popcorn too, either yellow or white, it's the better deal & pops better, bigger than the national brand.

It's about 50% peanuts , but those are very good in themselves.I wouldn't say that unless they were especially good peanuts.A good deal of almonds and cashews too.Less of the other two but still a fair amount.It's great for my heart healthy diet. Very fresh and crunchy with a nice price tag.

I LOVE to mix these w/ chex mix (cheese flavor) for having satisfying snacks around.

Good lightly salted with sea salt..

I use tons of mixed nuts in holiday Chex Mix - I make huge amounts as gifts every year. In trying to cut some of my cost, I bought just one can of the Great Value mixed nuts to try them. They were well seasoned, without being too salty, and the taste was good. My only issue was that the can says "less than 50% peanuts" - well, I'm not sure who's counting, but the can I got was way more than 50% peanuts - I found 4 cashews, lots of almonds and a sprinkling of filberts and pecans. NOT the best mix I've ever had, but for Chex Mix, I can use a few cans along with the higher priced "deluxe" mixed nuts I use. So, for snacking - just okay. For mixing into other snacks, probably fine. Let's just say, I wouldn't use these for a holiday treat, all on their own.

The nuts taste good - they are crunchy, well-salted and seem fresh enough but there is no way there are less than 50% peanuts in this container. I would say 80% is peanuts. Having polished off 1/4 of the container and after digging around in the can I have seen of course mostly peanuts, lots of almonds, 1 Brazil nut, 3 pecan pieces (only pieces, not even whole halves), several cashew pieces (again, many are not even whole halves) and a few macadamias. If you don't mind the majority being peanuts and the fact that the nuts aren't "pretty" these will do you fine for that salty craving. Also the packaging is now red, not white and black, just in case you are looking for these in-store. So yes, I would recommend them to a friend with the above-mentioned warning.

these are very good when you just feel like snacking on something.. They have a variety of different nuts, but I will say that it does have a lot of peanuts... So, I would suggest that it's for someone who loves peanuts but wants to try other nuts, too

Should have more Brazil nuts and fewer almonds and cashews.

The 14.75 OZ (418g) can of Great Value Mixed Nuts that I purchased at Wall Mart had a red label with a statement on the front of the label that said "Less Than 50% Peanuts With Sea Salt." The contents listed Almonds, Cashews, Brazil Nuts, Hazelnuts, and Pecans. The photo pictured all of these nuts and maybe two peanuts. The can I purchased had 5 Almonds and all the remaining nuts were peanuts. There were no other nuts and definitely not "Less Than 50% Peanuts." This product was a great disappointment.
