Great Value Monterey Jack Block Cheese, 16 oz Chunk

my favorite cheese in general! I love monterey jack and this is a great deal for this big brick of cheese I haven't seen a better price anywhere else and it tastes so good I use a cheese grater and shred it up and put it on just about everything and it melts down so nicely has a good flavor

I haven't been able to find this in a 1lb package for months do i have to get the bigger size. the good thing is, you can use this in many recipes and the flavor is mild so the kids eat it as a snack. i like to shred my own cheese, i don't like what it is coated in when its shredded. it doesn't melt well. I think Great value cheese is delicious and a great value.

very impressed with all the produce I have purchase, very fresh and when there was a couple of items that were too soft or mushy, Walmart took immediate action to correct the problem.I was always afraid to order grocery on line because I'm very selective when I but fruits and veggies, prefer under ripe than overripe. Also I happy with the delivery time frame after placing the order, very fast.

this is very good cheese and I use it in several of my recipes and especially when I make my special quesadillas I load up my tortillas with a mound of cheese green onions finely chopped ham or cooked chicken and chopped green peppers they taste great.😁😁😄👽

love this cheese, it's great for the keto diet that I did about 8 years ago (and I'm about to go on it again 😩), it's delicious and low carb, I shred 1 ounce and put it on a ice berg lettuce instead of a salad dressing for a low carb lunch and have some dried salami with it and it keeps me well into my macros allowing for a more carbful dinner lol

Just like Great Value milk, I always buy Great Value cheeses. They're overall great quality. Look good, taste good, great texture and stay fresh if stored properly. I usually buy the block cheese for an even better value. Monterrey Jack is one of my favorites. So many ways to use it. ''

I was hoping it would taste as good as the national brand, which I will not disclose here. It does not taste the same as 💯 Monterey Jack Cheese to me.

While I usually like Walmart brand products, I think they fall very short on their cheeses. Not just the Monterey Jack, but any flavor of Great Value cheese does not do it for me. The flavor is very bland and they seem more greasy compared to other store brands or name brands. If you are looking for something cheap it does the trick but as far as quality it's poor. I would not recommend ANY of the Great Value cheeses. Pay a little extra and get the name brand.

I did an online order today. One of my products was not in stock. They did not send me a text or an email giving me a chance to decline the substitution or to tell you what else I needed what I needed was especially for a recipe I'm cooking for supper what they sent I have no need of. I'm upset because they never contacted me to give me a chance to get what I needed.

There is no way to describe this product as Monterrey Jaack cheese. Some time within the last several months, it has changed from a reasonably good product to a rubbery, taseless goo. There is none of the characteristic slightly tart flavor of the real thing any more, and the texture is more like rubber than a cheese-like texture. Only buy this if you're desperate, and you need to use Monterrey Jack in a situation where it is not the main feature in the dish you're making., and you can't get to another store to buy a better quality product. For years, I used this specific cheese with confidence anywhere I wanted great flavor at a reasonable price. The price is still reasonable, but the quality has, alas, tanked.
