Great Value Monterey Jack Block Cheese, 32 oz Chunk

I never buy shredded cheese because it changes the taste. When you cut a piece of cheese it begins hardening on the exposed edge, which changes the taste. This is going to be added into two of my favorite dishes. Rice , Monterey Jack cheese, and peeled and diced green chilies. You can decide on your own how much of each ingredient to use. You cook the rice then mix in the green chilies. Then put the rice in a dish and melt the cheese on top.. The other is an old Hawaiian dish, that I learned from a girlfriend. Fried spam and rice. They also add scrambled eggs into it but I don't need the extra protein and it makes it easier to make without the scrambled eggs. This is an excellent carbohydrate and protein bomb to eat before a large athletic endeavor. I would eat it before my 40 mile bike ride and I feel good the whole way.

my favorite cheeses to make tamales de queso con rajas or my favorite Chile rellenos and I can't just buy one it has to be 2 or 3 at a time of the 2lbs. pack a week.

I'm fairly certain Ive reviewed this previously. I enjoy the flavor, texture, creaminess of this block cheese. Nice size, economically priced and I can easily recommend to others.

This cheese is comparable to Cache Valley Monterey Jack cheese. It is excellent for any Mexican dishes, pair it with Tillamook sharp to fill your cheese enchiladas. We love it in a black bean quesadilla! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

I love the cheese. It is just I have to pay the same price for 1 pound of hamburger and 1 pound of cheese.

It's yummy grated your self of course and it's yummier but price other stores have been better price recently…

Perfect to freeze… love this cheese

A fan of Monterrey Jack, I occasionally splurge on the calories and buy the cheese just to nibble at room temperature. Sometimes this product is delicious and has a perfect texture and other times it has little flavor and is rubbery. when it is good it is a bargain; when it is not it is a disappointing waste of money.

This is my favorite cheese but this time unfortunately it was very bad…it seems like it was left out of the fridge for a long time and it's very soft and squishy

This item needs to come in a zip tie bag every time I open it. It goes bad within a week please change the packaging.
