Great Value Mountain Lightning Citrus Flavored Soda, 12 fl oz, 24 Count

Mountain Dew, just like everything else it got so expensive people cannot afford to drink it. It’s ridiculous. So mountain lightning to me it may be even a little better than Mountain Dew. I highly suggest it for people who don’t want to pay that big money for Mountain Dew.

I used to be a Mountain Dew drinker but switched to Mountain Lightning to save money and I would rather have Mountain Lightning now! I order 12 2 liters at a time and 4-6 12 packs then a case or two everytime I order from Walmart! It is for sure the best generic- if you call it that- out there! Ill be buying it forever! i recommend giving it a try!

I LOVE Great Value Mt. Lightening! It's a great substitute for its expensive Brand name cousin, as well as I love the fact that it's less carbon-y so you can guzzle an ice cold can of it without crying from the burn of too much carbonation 🙂! It's like refreshing bubbly popcorn for your mouth!

we love everything about Sam's choice colas we love the mountain lightning that tastes so pleasant we love it all we take it every week and we can we get a case we go through cases and cases of this stuff it's great fully loaded and great for the value

Is it as good as Mt. Dew? Not quite, in my opinion, but it's more than close enough that you likely won't notice much. Less caffeine than Mt. Dew however, but that's not an entirely bad thing and it's still significantly more than, say, Coke or Pepsi. Overall though it's good, and excellent when you consider the price.

Do not expect this to taste anything like Mountain Dew. Simply put, Mountain Dew cannot be replicated. However, this soda is my go to as a former Mountain Dew fiend. It isn’t as carbonated as name brand sodas but I find that quite enjoyable. It is a very sweet citrusy flavored soda that cannot be beat for the price.

the pop is so does not taste that bad at all I get it all the time but it used to be a lot cheaper and for some reason it's went up a lot in price just these past few months so it's getting to where it's not worth it you might as well just buy regular mountain dew because you're really not saving too much at all anymore!

just open one of the cases and I got the first 10 out and it says good till September 29th 2026 and I opened up put it in a glass and all kinds of stuff is coming out of the can and it's sticking to the inside of the bottle it foamed up like it's supposed to from the bubbles but there's yellow stuff in it that's sticking to the bottle and yes I did clean the bottle thoroughly I even sterilized them and it doesn't taste right and that's the first cat I opened

Flat taste gross was not at all like any of past cases we bought so I went back bought a 12 pack of the mountain lighting and it was the same flat and gross wish I knew how to file a complaint

i bought this drink religiously! for years! i used to like it better than mt. dew. but recently, they have changed the recipe or something. at first i thought, maybe it was just a bad batch or something.. but it's not. something has changed, and not for the good. sorry!
