These Great Value Mozzarella String Cheese are healthy and quick lunch snacks. Especially if you wrap them inside a slice of ham lunchmeat. It seems to me that they have improved the inner plastic wrap that the individual cheese string is wrapped in because they are much easier to get started opening now.

string cheese is the best type of cheese for pizza on a budget! it has the proper texture, melting point and flavor for making home pizza. i have no issue with this brand. its a good balance of fresh cheese, salty and elastic. deff try this in recipes as appossed to buying the exspensive ball of mozz! will some big brainer fix the plastic string cheese bag nightmare please!!! gawwwww!!!

I love these cheese sticks! I've tried the name brands and I honestly find these to taste better. There's no need to spend on a name brand when you can save money and get just as good if not better!

Tastes good as String cheese however majority of the time lately the sizes are different. i need a food scale to ck %26 see if they're ripping people off.

Tastes just as good, if not better than the name brand! Worth it to go with the great value brand! These tend to be more fresh tasting than the branded ones.

So, this mozzarella tastes kinda rubbery and not in a great way. It's on the firm side and doesn't taste fresh by any means. Unfortunately they went bad before I was able to consume the whole package. Next time I'll make mozzarella sticks or something.

I've bought Walmart brand this cheese for years and always liked. But I've gotten 3 batches so SALTY they were inedible. The bad ones were the last 3 times I ordered. So maybe they changed the way they make? Doesn't matter, it's not saing $ if needs be tossed bc no one w eat. I'll never order them again. Buy the name brand, these are a waste of $ and not healthy either. They are also a pain in the butt to eat, the plastic doesn't pull apart as it shoud and opening them is often a struggle.

I had ordered these before and they were good, normal. This newest delivery tasted like if they were 90% salt. completely unedible.

Packaging is HORRIBLE! Taste is ok though salty, but you can't get them open! You get what you pay for, I've eaten my LAST Great Value cheese stick! I will only buy name brand from now on. I'll pay the extra...and because Walmart doesn't care enough about their customers to fix the inferiority of their store brands, I will be buying name brand from other retailers! Penny-pinching cost Walmart a customer! I'm DONE with terrible packaging and substandard products within...that is IF you can get to the product in the first place!

I wanted to save money so I went with the off brand because I purchased it a while back and it was fine. NOT ANYMORE, it is FLAVORLESS, rubbery, not stringy at all, im afraid to give it to my child because this is some fake food we have here. its gross.
