Great Value Muenster Deli Style Sliced Cheese, 8 oz, 12 Slices

We used this Great Value sliced Muenster cheese to put on top of a chicken breast recipe and it turned out wonderful !! The cheese had a nice sweetness and tang combined with the chicken and garlic in the recipe. It melted fine in the oven. I'd use it again for this recipe or any recipe that calls for Muenster.

I like this cheese. It's pretty good and the price is ok. This one time Willa and I got in an argument over it because I said Muenster cheese reminded me of the Munsters tv show from back when we were kids and she said they were the Monsters not the Munsters and we were off. By the time we got home we made a bet and the loser had to bring in and put away all the groceries from Walmart. So we went online and yes it was The Munsters but Willa starts saying the internet is wrong and that the show was called The Monsters and I said I doubt the internet is wrong and she didn't like the way I said doubt, like dowwwwt, so she went upstairs and that was yesterday and those groceries are still out there in the car so I'm not sure what to do.

This is my all time favorite cheese (with Swiss being second). The texture when it melts on toasted bread is exquisite. This goes great in sandwiches which my children love and ask for (sometimes I have to had two slices at their request). It's also good for salads and the calcium is at a good amount.

This is better than most brands out there formuch less money. If you're making a cheese plate you'll want a better quality but for sandwiches and general cooking you can't beat the price for quality ratio. Buy the 8 oz. since 2 of them is cheaper than the 1 lb. size. Go figure. That also lets you keep one factory sealed which keeps it fresh longer.

Usually costs less than 2 bucks for this package of cheese. The ziploc/resealable feature on the bag is awful, so we usually cut the bag open and place it into a new one. That being said, this cheese tastes great, comes pre-sliced for the kiddos, and the price cannot be beat.

I believe there's a song that says I love a monster. well, I love my muenster. this one isn't as strong a flavor as I like but it melts great has great texture and works great on my sandwiches., and it's so cheap, I can't stop keeping it on hand. Like I said, this is one of my favorite cheeses.So I like it to be real strong.That isn't the case here, but it does have great flavor great texture and a great price.

I usually buy Finlandia munster cheese. trying to save some money, so I tried this cheese. made a grilled cheese...slices are very thin so I used 2 for my sandwich. didn't melt well, and a stringy, dry stretch and not much flavor. maybe good on a burger, but pretty flavorless...I will buy a better brand next time...

The product is great but the packaging is very poor. You have to use scissors to open it. Once it's opened you need to repackage it because the Zip always separates from the package. This has been going on for a long time with the pepper jack and muenster sliced 8oz.

Not sure what's going on in the cheese process but lately all the GV cheese has a odd taste to me ? Is it me or is it an ingredient perhaps sub par If so please check and make it taste good as he used too ALL their cheese has this odd flavor OR I'm having a tasting issue ?

cheese was fine. Walmart home delivery and the person who picked my order made substitutions for 3 more expensive items. I checked the app after delivery and the 3 items WERE still in stock and offered express delivery in 29 minutes. I talked with customer service twice and was hung up on by the 2 different representatives I spoke with. They were both argumentative and rude. Terrible customer service. I have canceled my Walmart subscription
