I grew up on Skippy, and grew to like Jiff as an adult. I was pleasantly surprised at the creamy texture and peanuty taste of this peanut butter. It does separate a bit, but not on the level of Laura Scudder's or some other brands. Even with the bit of separation, it still gets high marks from me.
Y’all, this is seriously delicious and way better than plain old Great Value Creamy Peanut Butter which I always get until I tried this on account of it saying it was natural and whatnot and maybe not so much sugar in my diet is a good thing. Anyway, long story short, this here actually tastes better than the plain old creamy stuff, so give it a try!
This is a wonderful peanut butter. The taste is always fresh, it is easy to use, and easy to store. Now I use this as my peanut butter of choice for any recipes.
The GV No Stir Natural creamy peanut butter is beyond delicious. It is also good for you. It provides 7 grams of protein, has 1/3 less saturated fat and is lower in calories than a 4 oz. 90/10 beef burger, not to mention WAY cheaper. It is low carb, low sugar and, if you are watching your iron intake, very low in iron. It is off the charts, however, in flavor. It makes a great-tasting sandwich in a heartbeat and I especially enjoy stuffing GV peanut butter in celery for a healthful and satisfying snack. It's always fresh-tasting because the shelf life is surprisingly long--9 months or so per the sell by date, but we buy a jar at least every three weeks, so..... You will, too, once you try it.
I am not a big fan of sugared peanut butter. Salty, yes, but sweet? Meh! So as I headed to the return bin I had a second thought and threw some into a brownie mix I was baking up and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved it, and now I never hesitate to blend it into my baking routines.
this would be perfect if they would not put sugar in it. why sell natural peanut butter and then add refined sugar. this is a great product, please stop putting refined sugar in natural food. we don't need in sugar peanut butter. most people add very sugary jellies or jams I add honey to my peanut butter sandwich nobody needs sugar in peanut butter. we put our own sweetener honey or jam instead.
I like GV natural no stir creamy peanut butter I don't have to waste time stirring it each time I want to use it! I not only use it for a sandwich, but i also use it on my snacks like on celery sticks, and in certain favorite homemade cookies! It's healthy too!
I like the taste but I do not like that it has sugar. I've purchased a few times. I used it when I'm on a strict budget. It's a good value for the money. I prefer a natural peanut butter with only peanuts and salt
When they say natural, I think what they mean is that you can find the ingredients in nature. That is all. What they don't tell you is that instead of just grinding up roasted peanuts and maybe adding a pinch of salt, they have sucked out all the peanut oil, and replaced it with a cheaper, less healthy oil, because they can sell the peanut oil and make a few cents more. For an actually natural peanut butter, try Aadams brand, or go to Costco and ask Mrs. Kirkland, or go to WinCo and put the peanuts through their grinder yourself....
How can peanut butter contain only 90% peanuts? 10% of this is palm oil and sugar. Smuckers is one of the only brands that actually offers peanut butter and not this unhealthy “spread”.
