Great Value Naturally Hickory Smoked Thick Cut Sliced Bacon, 48 oz

Great fat content is you are looking for bacon grease to save. I use it for my cast iron pan to keep it nicely coated between uses. This is our go-to basic bacon when we are finished eating our own. Fries up great ... especially on the charcoal grill. We used it in homemade Suckatash and it were able to grill it to the perfect crispness.

Not too salty not too sweet just as perfect as it gets. I have been buying it for years. Love it and recommend it often to all our camping friends. Cooks up very nicely and it works for so many recipes because bacon makes everything taste better. We use it for breakfast, lunch and supper.

I eat lots of bacon. This beats the name brands and the more expensive slabs of bacon. The taste of this bacon is the best. I have been buying it for a decade. When they are out of stock, I try a different brand and I always return to this bacon when it is in stock.

I would normally recommend this without any issues. However, this time I got a package of what appeared to be end pieces. More than half of the package was small partial pieces. They were not thick sliced and did not cook up well. I was very disappointed with this one. But please note that this was the first of many to be like this. Just beware..... if you are in the store, check how the slices look in the package. I got mine brought out to the car so I didn't get a chance to check.

this bacon was fire ! (very good). I just wish it were a little cheaper. I learned of it by watching a TikTok video of a big back bagel being made with this bacon. it is a 48 oz package for $15 when I can get three packages for 12 separately when Oscar Meyer is on sale but it is thick cut. the taste is top notch so I splurge and purchase this value package. it does hold up well in the fridge so I highly recommend. it does not taste like the regular great value bacon which is salty and does not contain a lot of fat as well. Great for BLTs on salads and in the morning with grits and eggs I use it for a variety of ingredients.

Not too bad for the money/value. Cooks out a lot, and not too much water added to enhance sale weight. Tastes quite good, though not nearly what we made for ourselves "on the farm". Does not taste like sugar-cured and hickory smoked, but close - liquid hickory smoke never does match the real thing.

This bacon is hit or miss. I mostly order via WM so I'm trusting someone else to pick the item. If the bacon isn't freshly put out then it separates and is messy. The thickness isn't always there either. If you can get the slightly more expensive brand you should if the thickness and quality is a priority. If you're using in salads and sandwiches, you probably won't mind as much.

In the past this bacon was in my opinion the best one to purchase.The last few times it was very salty and now the slices fall apart before you cook them .They are not whole slices.This package also had more fat than usual.I was paying for fat instead of bacon.

This Great Value bacon was rather fatty and what you would expect when someone doesn't take the time to select good, meaty bacon. I had to slice off hunks of fat before I cooked it.

I will stop ordering from Walmart, I was sick and ordered groceries to be delivered to me. Walmart waited over three hours then cancelled my order. I reordered the groceries because my kids needed food for dinner, only for them to cancel again. I ordered the items again, they took my money, then cancelled the order again. this when on four times, now I'm stuck waiting for a refund that will take 10 business days and I'm broke so I can't get food for my kids until the refund comes. I know Walmart is a big company and won't miss my money but I'll never shop there again.
