Great Value No Stir Creamy Natural Peanut Butter Spread, 40 oz

I received someone else's order and this was in it. I had never tried natural peanut butter spread. It was surprisingly good and tasted "natural" - I mean it doesn't taste or have the texture of my usual peanut butter but it was very good. It is thinner, even with stirring, but the flavor was delicious.

This is my "go to" peanut butter for my family, number one. It has no garbage in it and tastes DELICIOUS! This is also my secret peanut butter brand for my famous peanut butter cookies. There have been many that have tried to recreate my recipe but do not get the same rich flavor, because they are buying crappy name brands. Walmarts is where its at!

I love that there is an option of natural peanut butter that isn't always watery at the top! Plus it's' creamy enough I can dip my cracker straight into the jar and it won't break my cracked in half. The GV brand for this is not only just as good as the higher prices brands, but it's BETTER! 🥜

This is a staple in our home and will be as long as there are growing kiddos. We do try and find alternatives to the standard PBJ, but this does excel at that. If you let it sit on the shelf too long - like 4-6 months - the oil will separate a little. A healthy stir with a stout butter knife puts it right and your off. Especially great if your looking for an alternative to the standard hydrogenated peanut butter.

I have purchased every brand of natural peanut butter that I can find and this is, hands down, the best. Creamy and smooth. No need to stir in the oil. Tastes like fresh roasted peanuts. The value is outstanding. There is no need to look any further.

​This is a delicious blend of stir-free natural peanut butter; it's not too sweet, but has just the right amount of very subtle sweetness to bring out the flavor of the peanut butter. To me it's the perfect amount and not too sweet; also it's not too salty. I find that many other brands are too salty for my taste. Of all the peanut betters I've tried, this one, the Great Value No-Stir Creamy Natural, is my favorite of any and all brands I've tried. Pretty sure it does not require refrigeration, as I can't find anything on the jar that says to refrigerate it. However, I choose to keep mine in the fridge because I like the way it tastes when it's cold, coming straight from the fridge. Sometimes I do leave it out and it's delicious either cold or room temperature. But I love it when it's served cold, fresh from the fridge. Another great product of Walmart's store brand, Great Value., which I've always found to be a top quality brand. Tip: If you want to indulge yourself with an almost peanut butter fudge-like taste: stir in some natural maple syrup or honey and keep stirring really well; the more you stir it changes texture and becomes kind of almost candy-like. It's amazing, like a quick, instant peanut butter "bachelor fudge."

This is made with palm oil and sugar. Same as Jif Natural peanut butter. Pretty good stuff. It doesn't cause as much inflammation as the regular stuff that is made with hydrogenated oils. Palm oil is partially hydrogenated but better than the other if you suffer from inflammation.

There is no perfect peanut butter unless you make it yourself. The no-added-sugar peanut butters are either runny as syrup and more suitable for smoothies that sandwiches (e.g. Richard's) or they have so much palm oil they taste bland (e.g. Jiff no-sugar). This is a pretty good compromise. It has a LITTLE added sugar, a LITTLE palm oil, and it tastes ALMOST as good as the runny ones and is ALMOST as stiff and spreadable as the peanut butters normies buy. If you air condition you probably will think the texture is fine. I don't and in hot weather, this is a little runnier than I'd prefer, but you can still make a sandwich with it. It's a balancing act. Sugar and palm oil stiffen the peanut butter up and give it close to the texture it had back in the bad old days when peanut butter was chock full of trans fats. But sugar isn't good for you and palm oil kills the taste. I'd probably tinker with it and amend one of the runny varieties to come closer to getting the best of both worlds if it weren't for one remaining factor. This is CHEAP, the way God an G.W. Carver intended peanut butter to be. It appeals to my inner Scotsman.

I wanted to give Great Value No Stir Creamy Natural Peanut Butter a couple of purchases before I wrote a review for it, so my findings are fair %26 honest. In my household, we eat a lot of peanut butter, so I'm often looking for good deals on peanut butter that tastes good %26 holds up well during storage after opening. This one does not fare well on my list for purchasing. I tested at least 3 different jars (all 40 oz size), over time, before writing this review. When 1st opened the Great Value No Stir Peanut Butter has a smooth consistency %26 tastes pretty good for a lower cost peanut butter. It spreads fairly easily on bread too. The "no stir" on the label sounds great, but sadly, it's not the case. After storing %26 even with fairly often use during the week, the peanut butter starts to get a dried out appearance %26 when you stir it (yeah it says no stir, but dried out peanut butter is gross), it ends up with a consistency that is wafery like, which is even yuckier that dried out peanut butter. So unless you're going to be eating it on crackers, or don't mind the wafer-like pieces if stirred, I'd skip this one %26 buy something else. I hate writing a bad review, because Great Value provides a lot of low cost, great products for customers. Unfortunately, this isn't one of them.

NOT Natural Peanut Butter. False advertising. It contains the VERY unhealthy Palm Oil and also contains sugar, bot with cause inflamation. Natural and healthy Peanut Butter should ONLY contain Peanuts, organic peanuts better, and sometime, maybe a dash of salt and that's it. Natural peanut butter contains just peanuts and salt(and sometimes not even the salt). No fully hydrogenated vegetable oils, no sugar – both of which are found in conventional peanut butters. I will not buy anymore. Remove the sugar and palm oil
