I eat way too much of this. ive been purchasing this for years now. It is a terrific all natural product, and for the price, it can't be beat. the only thing is that it does have oil. it's palm, but i wish it didn't have any. if there is any settling, i just put a piece of paper towel to soak it up. but usually there isn't. i eat it with an apple or celery.
I can't eat enough of this Natural Peanut Butter it tastes so good and it's so creamy. I even slice up an Apple and spread it on that it's delicious. Of course it's great on PB%26J too. The price is also pretty good for nowadays, I just hope they don't knock it up about 50% like they do so often.
I love that there is an option of natural peanut butter that isn't always watery at the top! Plus it's' creamy enough I can dip my cracker straight into the jar and it won't break my cracked in half. The GV brand for this is not only just as good as the higher prices brands, but it's BETTER! 🥜
Just a solid product at a good price. We don't notice a difference between Skippy or Jif, just pay about half the price for the same product. PB is always good to have around as a sandwich, with an apple or celery. Throw it in with a sweet chili sauce like Mae ploy, some ponzu, sesame oil, fresh grated ginger, garlic and lime juice, and you have an amazing Asian inspired peanut dressing for noodles, stir frys, as a dumpling, potsticker or spring roll sauce. Anyways, you know, good old fashioned peanut butter, at a great price without compromising taste or quality.
I like the flavor of great value peanut butter and it's good for protein and whatever other stuff you get out of peanut butter I feel sorry for those people allergic to it I don't think we had any of those kids around when I was a kid now they seem to be every other kid
This is not your “regular” peanut butter! I'm truly spoiled. The label says “peanut butter spread”. That's what makes it so great. No need to fight getting it out of the jar. Knife in, it comes out of jar easily. Spreads easily too. Only have regular peat nut butter if this is not available.
actually I didn't buy it because I picked it out I don't have my normal peanut butter on hand so I thought it seemed like a good buy I was absolutely surprised I will continue to buy it and I have trouble with protein issue I'm a senior citizen and disability and it's peanut butter is used a lot I love it thanks for introducing me to it
I have purchased every brand of natural peanut butter that I can find and this is, hands down, the best. Creamy and smooth. No need to stir in the oil. Tastes like fresh roasted peanuts. The value is outstanding. There is no need to look any further.
There is no perfect peanut butter unless you make it yourself. The no-added-sugar peanut butters are either runny as syrup and more suitable for smoothies that sandwiches (e.g. Richard's) or they have so much palm oil they taste bland (e.g. Jiff no-sugar). This is a pretty good compromise. It has a LITTLE added sugar, a LITTLE palm oil, and it tastes ALMOST as good as the runny ones and is ALMOST as stiff and spreadable as the peanut butters normies buy. If you air condition you probably will think the texture is fine. I don't and in hot weather, this is a little runnier than I'd prefer, but you can still make a sandwich with it. It's a balancing act. Sugar and palm oil stiffen the peanut butter up and give it close to the texture it had back in the bad old days when peanut butter was chock full of trans fats. But sugar isn't good for you and palm oil kills the taste. I'd probably tinker with it and amend one of the runny varieties to come closer to getting the best of both worlds if it weren't for one remaining factor. This is CHEAP, the way God an G.W. Carver intended peanut butter to be. It appeals to my inner Scotsman.
We use this a lot in our house. When you first open it, it is great. by the time you get past halfway but not to the bottom, is when it gets rough. The peanut butter gets thick and doesn't want to spread correctly. If it isn't used in a timely manner it will get a weird smell. But it never sits long enough in my house. When I get to the point that it won't spread, I use it for baking instead of spreading. My kids love this peanut butter and we use every ounce.
