Great Value No Sugar Added Sliced Peaches, 14.5 oz

Walmart is pressuring me to review all 4 cans of fruit I recently purchased, before a reasonable amount of time has passed for me to open and eat them from my pantry by myself. I am basing this good review on my past experience with GV canned fruits. They are always OK if not good. I prefer them without added sugar and that is available on their website.

I am diabetic and I love these no sugar peaches, I eat them as part of a meal instead of vegetables or for a snack in the evening. They are so good, juicy and soft. If you like canned peaches but can't have all of that thick syrup, these are for you.

These peaches are just the perfect sweetness without sugar. They're nice firm slices great for eating alone as the dessert or putting them in your cereal or just as a snack. I always have a couple of cans in my pantry. You don't have a mess of eating a fresh peach that drips all over you.

I have gotten the dice peaches Delmonte and Doles. They are messy. You have to take the plastic off and juice flies all over the place. Most of the time I had to use scissors to get the well glued plastic off. With Great Value you have the pull tab. In 60 years I have been using pull tabs I can count on one hand the times that pull tabs broke off. Then you just use the can opener. The sliced peaches with no sugar added are easy to cut in dice size. Taste good and good for my diabetes. Get some!!!

needing to increase my protein so the cottage cheese along with the no sugar peaches is the perfect answer I'm a diabetic and this is recommended by my nutritionist

Great Value no sugar added sliced peaches are always a good buy. Great for diabetics. You can cook with them, add to jello, eat right out of the can. They pack well for lunches.

I do not eat snacks. I try not to eat in between meals. I find these peaches are acceptable as part of a meal or with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. . I keep them on the shelf, always ready and use as needed.

My mom insists on only eating the "no sugar added" variety when it comes to canned peaches. I served her some recently and I tasted them before she ate them. They definitely had an artificial sweetener taste. When she tried them, she said, "These aren't Del Monte." I never noticed that other brands had a "no sugar added" option. Based on her comment, I looked and sure enough, Del Monte makes them. After buying and tasting Del Monte No Sugar Added canned peaches, I know why it was so easy for Mom to taste the difference so readily. Del Monte is much better tasting.

The can was badly dented!
