This is a family favorite oatmeal cookie. It started with grandpa and now we are three generations of happy oatmeal cookie lovers. We buy them many at a time and get comments oh they must be good I have to get them. We have tried others in a pinch but these are the favorite.
these are the best tastings cookies in the world, l love them and can eat them every day with a tall glass of milk. Unfortunally can't do that because I am a diabetic but l have 2 as my snack every day they also help to keep me regular .l hope Walmart never stops carrying them
Taste and softness was very good they get had but eatable after a few days, I did not place them in a container after opening them. they got firmer but were still eatable.
This is a staple for my husband. He grabs several during the day and in the evening as a snack. Tells me they are not too sweet, which is one of the reasons he likes them, and somewhat crunchy. I have been buying for him for years and years.
Ive brought these for a couple of years always enjoyed them untill last couple of months. They used to be harder and more cruchy now they are like soft bake cookies guess they changed ingredients or something. Ill look for something else when i need cookies again
Hard thin cookies that aren't great by home cooked standards but then again what pre made, processed foods are.......? Why the title? I'm diabetic (under control) therefore most any "sugary" foods are a craving for me. Also being thin cookies I can, if not controlled eat a quarter of the package contents in one sitting!!! I keep it under control, three or four times a day.......... Just kidding! So if you like home cooked these are not for you, if you don't mind pre packaged snacks once in a while then these will more than fill that need. I am however going to start making my own, Splenda instead of sugar and no high fructose corn syrup. Not to mention much better tasting. Bon appetit!
Buying for the lower cost per cookies ! It does have rolled oats, but concerned about as my title listed. So used these for ice cream cookies. Saved Homestyle Soft Baked Oatmeal Raisin Cookie for coffee and tea.
I ordered four packs of these cookies. Only one package of cookies tasted old. I threw them away. The other packages were fine. I love these cookies and I never had a problem with them. But that one package contained hard and awful tasting cookies. Hopefully, I can get a refund for that one package. Thanks.
Apparently, the manufacturer of this cookie was changed. The new cookie has no taste. There is no oatmeal taste. The texture of the cookie is as if the cookies are stale, VERY stale. Whoever thought this cookie needed a change was sadly mistaken. If you decide to go back to the original manufacturer, please let me know and I'll buy another package.
If you're looking for soft oatmeal cookies, these are not for you. Got these for my dad, but they are hard as a rock. So unless you're going to soak them for a while in milk to soften them, dont bother with these. Before buying, I looked to see if these were soft, but nowhere did it say if they were or not, so I decided to try them. But yes, they are hard as a rock for anyone else that wanted to know.
