Great Value Organic Granulated Cane Sugar, 4 lbs

I've switched to organic cane sugar as regular sugar goes through processing. In processed food they take out the natural nutrients and replace them with chemicals that our bodies can't use. I left my bag on the kitchen table, went to the store and came back to a little sugar on the table. A bag seam had come open. I put the bag in a storage bag. I usually buy it in a plastic container.

We bought this specifically for baking, since we use honey for just about everything else. The granules are slightly larger than conventional white sugar, but they blend well in recipes and don't affect texture or taste. I appreciate that it's organic and minimally processed, no weird aftertaste, no clumping. It's become our go-to for muffins, cookies, and anything that needs a dry sweetener. Bonus: it doesn't feel overly refined, which fits our ingredient standards. The 4 lb bag lasts a while, even with regular use.

I have alpha-gal syndrome and cannot have sugar that has been whitened using bone char, which means I need to buy mainly just organic sugar - and this fits the bill. It's sugar, just like its white counterpart. The color is like a light tan, and I never notice that it ever colors anything in my baking. And I bake a lot. Nice and sweet. I am happy with this sugar!

This sugar tastes so good. I like that it is a more natural sugar. No whitening and the flavor is really tasty. Can't wait to see if it changes the flavor of baked goods.

I really like using this sugar for recipes and teas. i like how it blends easily into hot tea and has a nice sweetness. I also sprinkle some over my foam on my coffee. I like the crunch. I like how its natural and not bleached white.

deserves easily to texture is grainy as it supposed to be and the sweetness is good it's just feels good to have sugar that doesn't have other components in it

Appreciate Walmart offering this reasonably priced organic sugar product. Works great in all my favorite baking recipes. I love that I can grab it at my small town Walmart!

Great Value's organic sugar is the only brand we buy. It tastes great in everything we use it for. The price is reasonable for organic. I highly recommend it.

The product is great. The package needs work. The zip closure is really hard to realign to close, and of course, being sugar, the crystals don't help. I'm not sure if there is a reasonable solution though. Maybe just pack it in the old-school, double-layer paper sugar bag, with the triple-fold %26 lightly glued opening! Much more environmentally friendly.

Horrible organic sugar. It's over processed removing the delicious natural molasses flavor, Florida crystal organic sugar for a much richer organic flavor. This organic sugar almost has zero flavor. It's horrible.
