I think Walmart has a very solid soy milk here. I switched to this from Silk, and I actually prefer the Great Value stuff. The nutrition facts are very similar, except that Silk charges a lot more. The Kroger soy milk is pretty nasty in my opinion, so there really are no other solid competitors in this space. I don't care about the "Organic" part of this, but I find most other plant milks to be kind of awful, so I'm glad this exists...or existed? It has been out of stock for almost a month now, so Walmart may have discontinued it. Maybe the product was just that good.
Confused page lay-out, so my order got lost three times and I kept ordering without knowing I was starting over. I wish you could find the other two orders so I wouldn't have to write them all over again. A friend will pick up my orders tomorrow between 1 and 2. It would be a big help if you could find all three orders. Your system has worked wonderfully, but it's getting complicated. Please try to find all my lists and get them together tomorrow. Thanks so much. Nancy Jones
The most best tasting, not overly sweet soymilk out there. No weird stuff in it. I wouldnt recommend it to give to very young kids though, unless they are overweight. The calories content in this soymilk is too low for a growing child, or a child that is underweight. Silk original soymilk is the most calorie dense soymilk out there that tastes decent if you need something with more substantial calories.
To me it's the best tasting soy milk I've tried. It's not as thick as Silk brand and just has a really pleasant taste. I'm bummed that it's been hard to find for a few months.
Delicious soy milk, I even think it's better than silk. Overall it is healthy compared to other alternative milks. Sometimes it's hard to find because it sells out fast. It's that good.
Great Value Organic Soy Milk is awesome! But it's been out of stock for some time now. Please Walmart. Bring this product back. Very disappointing that it's not available.
I have a tight food budget, so I always look for quality "no name" brands. Unfortunately, most "no name" brands do not compare well with their name brand counterparts. I am happy to report, however, that Walmart's Good Value Organic Soy milk is excellent. I drink it several times a week. It is good added to coffee, cappuccino, cereal, or just by the glass. Be careful not to drink too much of it, though, as it is fattening just like regular milk.
My biggest complaint is the difficulty of finding this stocked at the majority of Wal-Marts and our local stores' difficulty in keeping it in stock.
This soy milk contains 6 grams of sugar which some reviewers have complained is too much. I agree with that but it's better than the GV vanilla soy milk that has 9 grans (50% more) sugar and tastes like dessert. Unfortunately, most Walmart stores stock the vanilla version and not the original. If Walmart could reduce the sugar by half in this or make an unsweetened version I would likely rate it 5 stars (the same rating I will give to Silk unsweetened soy milk).
I usually like this brand of soy milk because it is similar enough and more affordable than the Silk brand. However this time Walmart delivered 2 that were several days past the Best Buy date. I am using one of them but will be throwing the other one out because I don't want to chance getting ill. Walmart should have pulled these from their shelves or at least they should have discounted them. I ordered 2 because these items usually have a long shelf life. I was able to get a refund but disappointed not to have been able to use the items that I ordered.
