Sweet tasting, ultra-pasteurized milk at a price point 20% less than other organic suppliers. What seals the deal is USDA organic certification which prohibits genetically engineered feed and antibiotics. Only complaint is the paper container is on the flimsy side. Competitors use a sturdier product
The only reason I buy 2 half gallons is that I can't lift 1gallon containers. I haven't done a scientific analysis but I think organic milk lasts longer than non-organic milk and besides that, I just like knowing that there isn't any hormones in what I'm drinking!
I have never had a container of this Great Value organic whole milk spoil. Unfortunately I cannot say that about other brands I have purchased. It may be a little more expensive but not tea when I think of the money I've lost having to dump out other brands I have purchased. I but it in half gallon cartons. Very convenient.
My kids absolutely love this milk. I love how it stays fresh for a very long time. I feel this milk is just as good if not better than other organic whole milk brands on the market but costs less. I always have at least 2 of these in my fridge at any given time.
We buy this milk and freeze it when stocking up. I will not use non-organic dairy products because the cows giving the milk on non-organic farms are fed chemical-laden diets, and the cows are injected with hormones to force their body to produce 3 to 4 times the milk per day, all in the NAME of MONEY. These hormones are also present in cow's milk and have been shown to cause cancers in humans. Especially, breast cancer, even breast cancer in girls as young as eleven years old. If it is not organic, they can keep it. The USDA and FDA are about money these days and not about protecting people as they once were. In addition, they can't be fully trusted. Doing your own research on foods and anything else we put into or on our bodies is the best way to stay healthy. I spend more on my food, personal body products, and vitamins, which is better than giving the money to the doctors and the hospitals after getting sick from all the chemicals, harmones, and junk in the cheap products marketed today. Just my two cents and days of research!
The great value organic hole mil the great value organic vitamin D milk has a real taste and it's not made with a bunch of sugar. It lasts for two months and at the last week before expiration date it still tastes great we buy it because it's organic plus it last longer so we don't have to pour it out when it sours it's a little more money but value on your health there's no dollar amount.
Great Value Organic Whole Milk is the best tasting milk that I have had. Not only does this milk taste great, it has a long shelf life. Since I started buying it several years ago, I have never lost any due to spoilage making it a good value. This milk also comes in gallon containers.
organic milk is pasturized at higher temperature. therefore basic bacteria are better eleminated and it has much longer time before it expires. meaning it can be drunk/consumed slower. No worries. also this value brand packaging both in gallon or half gallon are best containers. their shelf cost is lowest found. ××××××Superb taste. longest shelf life. lowest cost. best packaging.$$$$$$Bingo
Great tasting milk with a long shelf life. A good choice if you struggle to finish milk before it spoils. Organic tends to keep longer than non-organic and that is the only reason I can justify the price. My family tends not to finish regular milk before it spoils, so we probably waste enough to make up the price difference.
I find Great Value organic milks to be very watered down, even the whole milk. I do not feel that I am getting the protein and other nutrients that I need. From time to time, I do try the milk again, hoping for quality improvement. So far, to me, there has been no improvement.
