Great Value Original Baked Beans are as tasty as any other maker's beans but offer a break in price. I like these plain but they are also well suited to doctoring up and making them your own.
Great value baked beans this will be my first time trying them. I'm sure they will taste like Bush original baked beans. Great Value brands taste as good as the name brands.
These beans are usually a good option, I use for baked beans on the grill or when we make hamburger and beans for a quick dinner. My last order four cans were seriously dented, but we’ve had good luck with them in the past. Saving money everywhere you can makes a difference, decent price.
The texture and taste were yummy. Being the store brand saved me a few pennies, The overall quality was like the name brands. I enjoyed the baked beans as a side to our meatloaf dinner.
They are delicious and savory great for everyday meals cookouts holidays and rich in taste i luv them with or without meat they are wonderful and affordable
Pricey for product, small can, overpriced, yet that seems to be Walmart’s way these days, everything is priced up by .50 cents or more, yet quantity and quality is going down
These are as good as a name brand but cost less. I always add margarine and brown sugar when I’m heating it up.
So these are really basic baked beans. Not a huge amount of flavor but they're not bad and always tart them up with fresh garlic, onions, jalapeños, chopped up hot dogs and whatnot and that always tastes great. These are easy-opening and come in the perfect size for a side dish for a couple of people. Nothing fancy but good, solid baked beans for the price. If you do what I do and use them as a base for creating a spicy side dish you'll be very much happy with the results.
I've been buying these beans for a while now, and they have been for the most part fantastic, but lately it seems the beans are smaller in size and somewhat watered down and not as thick of the liquid in the can. Even the flavor hasn't been as good. They are still my favorite over the name brands, but it's clearly a change. The older ones I had purchased were absolutely the best beans I've ever had.
I only know one brand that is better (the one that has been around 100 years but can't ever find it). This one is less expensive and almost as good as the legendary one I'm referring to. Flavorful and hearty. Sometimes I eat it just for a snack instead of grabbing chips.
