Great Value Original Beef Jerky, Value Pack, 10 oz

A great snack and a wonderful treat for my buddy when we go hiking, my four legged friend definitely approves !

I actually bought these by mistake. I was looking for beef jerky for my dog. When they arrived I realized they were people food. I have never eaten jerky before. I tasted them and they are delicious. Needless to say my dog is not getting these. I will get him his own snacks. Try them you will love them.

Item was moldy. This is the second time.

I have bought this jerky for years and was always happy. But the last few times, the whole bags of jerky were so wet and sticky that my husband and son would not eat it. I will not buy this jerky for my family anymore. Thank you for letting me tell you all what is going on with your beef jerky.

I keep these in the house at all times but 3 days ago did curb side pick up of 3 bags. Next day opened one, reached in and pulled out this furry, slimy, glump of moldy meat. it was revolting, and i almost vomited. closed it and checked the expiration date and it was current. No holes were visible in the bag. it was returned but I caution everyone to look at the product before you buy it.

opened the bag and it felt wet and somewhat slimy, super loaded with pepper now.. and this is the original - I used to buy the blue bag, that is the appropriate jerky I was hoping to buy here - this stuff is slimy way too spicy and has too much sugar on it, I'm going to have to use this now as a dog treat.. and hope to buy the blue bag of original if I can find it

I used to buy it frequently and it was okay but not as good as the name-brand. Now it's inedible and I've thrown the last 2 packs in the trash. I bought that second one hoping the first one was a fluke, but the second one was even worse. It's full of fat and rock-hard inedible conjunctive tissue that you can't even bite into. It's also now hotter than eating a whole jalapeño and washing it down with a bottle of hot sauce. Why??? Why change it so drastically?

Unable to chew now that you switched from the blue bag to the black bag. These used to be my favorite beef jerky. Please go back to the quality of meat you used to use.

it was like it was wet. the flavor was ok but the texture was terrible. needs way longer in higher temp dehydrator. the bite was mushy the spice was sugar

I have bought this several times and it has been descent for the price, past issues have been a lot of fatty-crisle which were unbeatable, but it the last 3 times I've bought it, it was like canned dog food.. very wet and gross texture, if I wanted dog food I would have purchased it, I won't buy great value brand anymore because it's not a value when you spend over $10 a bag and can't eat it..
