Great Value Original Macaroni and Cheese, 2.05 oz, 8 Count

My children like these cups. Similar to name brand and it helps that Great Value brand is cheaper. However, they recently changed the design of the cups from plastic to eco friendly. And this now has impacted the ability of the cups to make it from production to your home. Each time I have bought them, there are multiple cups that are damaged and opened in the box. The brand needs to update the container.

Recently they’ve changed the packaging to a paper cup and I’ve purchased 2 different boxes where multiple cups have been opened inside due to the plastic not being sealed or staying sealed to the cup. I’ve been buying these for years and have never had this issue. I do believe it’s the new packaging. Yes, I could just return to where purchased but it’s just too much of a hassle for me. I will probably discontinue buying this product unless they go back to the old packaging or work on something to make the new ones more durable.

The seals on the individual macaroni containers came loose on several of the containers and the contents spilled out in the box. I have previously purchased these before without a problem. They use to have plastic containers, but now have some type of paper containers that do not stay sealed.

Not a fan in the change of packaging, it doesn't enable the noodles to fully cook. They either become over cooked or under-cooked, in lumps. I'm a grown woman and yes I know how to use a microwave and follow instructions. Packaging simply sucks. Please go back to original. Does anyone really buy and enjoy this? I generally prefer GV products, but not in this case. Cooking food in a cardboard container is not something I care to do.

We use to buy this product all the time. It is great option for my kids lunch. But since recently, they changed the packaging. They removed the plastic cup, but the seal at the top does not work on the cardboard cup. It is damaged before the box is opened.

i cannot believe yall changed the packaging to the cardboard cups. im going to return this last box i just purchased. Will never purchase these again and will just have to pay the price for Kraft. They do not cook in the cardboard cups, dont mix well at all, and stick to the bottom.

Do not like that the packaging has changed to cardboard cups. These do not taste the same as in the plastic cups. I've purchased several boxes since these changed and about half of the cups are not fully sealed in every box. Also had a box with only 7 cups. Need to work on sealing the cups properly. Quality is lacking. Never had a problem with the plastic cups.

I have ordered these before and now they have changed the cups. The cups used to be a plastic or something now they are like a card board cup and it doesn't work for this product. I heat up the bowl like the directions say and there was no water left which makes it hard to mix in the cheese. I know it was a cheaper product but for someone who is trying to save money does the product have to be made poorly?

This was our go to mac and cheese. I loved the price compared to leading brands and that it tastes just as good. My last order has new packaging. They changed the cups to cardboard and now the lids peel off in transit. When I got them, 6 out of 8 cups were open and all of the noodles were in the bottom of the box. I did receive a refund. The 2 that were still good do not taste the same and the noodles are sticky and clumped together after cooking. Had to add a little water for the cheese to blend. Will not be purchasing these again. I understand the cardboard bowls are better for the planet but the lids need to be changed as well since they don't stay on. The product is worthless if it's damaged and spilled everyehere before the customers receives it.

They have changed the packaging and it basically starts breaking down when you warm it up. It’s biodegradable and it’s disgusting. I’m all about saving the earth but this isn’t working. It’s so gross! Bring back the plastic!
