Good stuff probiotics You can add fruit berries and/ or any flavoring you choose And if you want to give your fur babies a little as a treat then plain or a few berries that are safe for them to consume Taste just as good or better than expensive brands Great value brand is truly a Great Value!
This plain yogurt was very good. I had also picked up fresh strawberries. I washed the strawberries and macerated them with a little sugar, which is way less than the yogurts with fruit already in it. this way I control how much sugar is in it. I had a small dessert dish with yogurt and spooned the berries over it. Remember when the berries get just a small amount of sugar or sugar substitute, it makes the berries give up some (tasty) juices when they sit for a while. That went over my yogurt...low in calories, but loaded with flavor. Yum. Choose the berries you like. Enjoy!
Would be nice if they had a full-fat version but this'll do. For store bought yogurt it's good enough. As a starter culture for making yogurt with our cow's milk it works very well. A pint of this will culture at least a gallon of fresh raw milk into yogurt.
I love this yogurt. It is fat free. It is very delicious. And it is good for you. I don't use sour cream... I use this yogurt to replace that and all the fat that comes with it. I also use it in giant ice cube trays with cut up fruit to make frozen snacks that are healthy.
I really love plain yogurt on so many dishes, especially chicken. No matter how you cook the chicken, it's so delicious with the yogurt. This has a very nice, smooth texture, fresh smell, and the perfect amount of tanginess. The price isn't bad for the amount, either.
I have gone after the strawberry flavor on every purchase for a long time now and occassionally vanilla. I used to get plain nonfat yogurt all the time. I dunno. I just felt like having plain yogurt this time around. I use it to take pills, since anything else doesn't usually do well with me for larger chalky-like types. It helps massively with that... any kind of yogurt at all. That's mainly all I use yogurt for of any type. No real reason to go too far, but I do mix alot of things in to whatever flavored yogurts I get.
Mix this with pumpkin for a healthy treat for my dogs. They don't all like it, but, in the end, the bowls are empty, one way or another. It provides similar benefits to dogs as it does to humans. I am not a fan of greek yogurt, myself, but, I feel good about giving my dogs quality food as treats rather than the pre-made biscuits, etc. with preservatives and other chemicals and colorings added.
this was a great bargain for the size. it's a little bit more loose than I care for. I just ordered the Greek again. I tend to like the thicker yogurts. but it's still a great value, and if you prefer your yogurt a little bit on the thinner side, this one is for you. probably would be great for smoothies.
Bought this through Walmart plus delivery. When received, the edge of the lid had a small crack like someone had lifted the lid, which I probably wouldn't have noticed except there was dried up yogurt running all the way down the side beneath that crack. Will have to throw this out. Cannot risk eating contaminated or spoiled yogurt.
As soon as I put spoon into yogurt I could tell something was off about it. When I tasted it I was shocked. In a bad way. It was unlike any yogurt I have had. It tasted and felt like additives were added. Like corn starch to thicken it and stretch it out. The texture was strange, gritty and unnaturally thick. It barely had any taste. Bland. Should have had a tangy fermented yogurt taste. There was none. I will never buy this again. Never.
