Too many broken chips, very disappointed in that, however the product itself was quality and chios held up to dip, the whole or hald ones we could salvage
I read an article lately that described Walmart's Great Value brand and it mentioned that Walmart typically does not 'manufacture' these items. Instead they have a major manufacturer with a name brand manufacture the items and then package them under the Great Value Walmart label. The Great Value Original Rippled Chips is all I buy now. I would enter them into a blind taste test and I bet you can not tell the difference from that famous name brand rippled chips! And at almost 1/3rd the price. Check it out and save $s. Bet you can't eat just one!
These are really great chips for dipping. In fact, they are my favorite. The chips are large, crunchy, and durable. They don't break easy when dipping, and they hold lots of flavor. Many chip bags seem mostly loaded with air and somehow the chips are still crinkled at the bottom. These terms to have more chips left whole and less air. i always feel like I'm getting my value for the money
Excellent awesome I like item excellent I always buy and will continue buy as long the price right the item is delicious and good flavor and tasty perfect ok thank you good day
Very comparable taste to Lays Chips the best off brand plain chip we have tasted hands down! Crunchy, not too salty! Very affordable pricing for product quality and the bag was full!
Good for the value. Taste just like any other regular chips. Pairs great with Deans' French onion dip which I highly recommend. Though I must warn it can be addicting.
Not sure if it is like this in the store or because I always get it delivered, but without fail almost half the chips are small broken up pieces. On top of the bag already being a quarter empty.
I bought these Great Value Original Rippled Potato Chips a couple times these last few months and I have usually had good experiences with great value chips. I love this brand because they were cheaper and taste just as good as the more expensive brands. But these last few times the chips have been darker in color then normal and it's more then just a few in the bag. The ones that weren't too dark had a good crunch and just the right amount of salt to me. Unfortunately, I don't think I would buy them again, but I wouldn't say for anyone else not to buy them cause someone else may like a darker chip. I took a picture of them in my container and tried to show the inside of the bag so show it wasn't just a few dark chips but quite a few.
The chips are good, but too salty for my liking. I may buy them again, I think I will try a different brand next time. Bought them for a gathering and needed them for the spinach dip.
I have been buying this brand and style of chip for a long time. Unfortunately, like so many other products now, Walmart has decided to change the recipe to cut back on their own costs. The new flavor of the chip is burnt potato. I have opened three bags now, since I discovered this change to the recipe, hoping that I just got a bad bag. That is not the case. They have changed the recipe and made these chips, which used to be better than Lays, not worth even eating if they are given away for free. I don't recommend buying these anymore.
