Good for the price & quality. I like the creamy taste. Does not carry the customary soy milk aftertaste for me.
Been buying this soymilk for years! It's a great substitute for those trying to get away from dairy. Not all soymilks taste the same. There are some that have a strong soybean taste, but this one is very neutral. So it really goes well with cereal or things you would use with dairy milk.
They new red carton that replaced the old one apparently came with a recipe change. I'm on my second carton and I can tell the taste is way off, and not for the better. It's a great price in comparison to others, but it's pretty hard to get down now :( Why do they mess with formulas and recipes when they already sell so well??? This stuff was out of stock ALL the time. I don't think that will be an issue now.
Good price and decent taste, but it has a VERY sweet smell that's off-putting, especially if you use it as part of a savory recipe. I made mac and cheese with this soy milk and it tasted fine, but it smelled grossly sweet so I didn't want to eat it. I haven't had this problem with other soy milks, including Walmart's organic soy milk (same price) so I think I'll just buy that one instead.
the non-organic is the only thing our Walmart stocks now and it is aweful. Powdery. Like the old soymilk powders that never quite mixed. Very beany tasting. Fine for cooking, but drinking is a little rough. We will be looking for a new source.
I ordered milk the milk was warm it was set on the porch they should have ring the bell or knock on the door it was not at 11:30 when they said they would bring the item or deliver the item they should have it in some kind of a cooler bag so the milk will not get warm other than that everything else was okay they just need a system for milk and items that need to stay cold thank you
I loved the price and availability of this thinking it was comparable to the red Silk soy milk. Wrong 😑 It's got artificial flavors in it and a really yucky aftertaste. It's cheap for a reason. I'm returning all of them I got in a recent pickup order.
Like the taste of another Great Value Organic Soy milk, but tried this when the other was "out-of-stock". Terrible after taste. Will need to start looking around for a replacement.
extremely sweet even though it's supposedly "original." tried to cook savory dishes with it several times and the kitchen smells like ice cream. might be good to drink but it's impossible to use in savory recipes. makes them inedible.
I agree with another customer. The new RED CARTON version of GV Soy milk has a new recipe. It tastes yucky, like it has gone sour. I've tried a few batches. I have had to return to buying Silk Soy milk, at almost double the cost. Not happy.
