Great Value Parmesan Finely Shredded Cheese, 6 oz Bag

The great value parmesan cheese was delicious. I used it to make alfredo sauce and poured it over great value bow tie pasta. Yum yum yum!! It’s also a delightful addition to sprinkle over spaghetti or mix in melted butter and a little great value garlic powder and spread over hawaiian roll sliders!! :)

Great Value shredded parmesan cheese is convenient and a very good value. I've bought it a couple times now for quick prep meals. For me, it's best used as a salad topper, in pasta dishes, and mixed into scrambled eggs. It's been great to have on hand in a pinch or when I didn't want to shred a block of cheese by hand. I'll be going back to shredding a block of cheese by hand and won't be buying pre-shredded as often (cutting back on the added starches that are in processed foods), but, for what it is, which is a convenience item, it's a good value and very convenient.

I would prefer to buy the block and shred myself but I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy this is. My trick to bagged shredded cheese is I rinse waxy stuff off and makes it similar to having done yourself. I also find that some things I prefer the Great Value brand over name brand. Also just because it’s Great Value it’s not necessarily cheaper.

I've always bought parmesan cheese in the shaker container to eat with various Italian dishes. I was really surprised by the taste of the parmesan in the bag and only bought it to cook in a recipe. However, going forward, I will buy it and not the shaker container.

When I was a teenager, I would buy chef Boy R D box pizza mix. It came with sauce , dough mix,and Parmesan powdered cheese. Later on in life I stopped buying the box pizza mix. However I make my pizza from scratch. One of my secrets is to put the parmesan cheese on the pizza before I bake it. I believe it changes everything into a delicious pizza.

This is the cheapest fresh Parmesan I’ve found — and it’s surprisingly good! Keeps well in the fridge, sprinkles easy, and adds that perfect cheesy bite to pasta or veggies. It’s not imported or fancy, but it sure tastes like it could be. Great deal for real Parmesan lovers on a budget!

I made chicken lasagna. Top section of the vodka sauce, mixed Italian cheese, chicken, lasagna noodles, Alfredo sauce, sausage, mixed Italian cheeses, peppers with pepperonis, ricotta cheese, lasagna noodles, vodka sauce, sweet peppers mix, chicken, mixed Italian cheeses, plain ricotta cheese, lasagna noodles, Alfredo sauce and mixed Italian cheeses.

This chees is shredded bigger than the canister. I have always went with this instead of the canister since its in the refrigerated dairy section. Melts nicely. The ingredients seem to be leading to the better texture and taste. I make my own garlic toast and this is wonderful on the bread. My only pronlem is the price should be more in proportion to the volume of cheese in the package.

This is great to keep on hand for cooking, salads, pizza, lasagna and anything else you can think of. I buy this product often and buy the Great Value brand to save money. I love the flavor of parmesan and when mixed with mozzarella cheese, it adds a little saltiness to enhance the flavor of both cheeses. If your mozzarella inspired dishes are just missing something, top the mozz with a sprinkle of parmesan and you will find the flavors you're looking for!

Dry, coated flakes have no taste and do not melt properly. Taste is main thing that is so bad. Cannot find a use for it mixing with others. Just horrible stuff. Will never buy it again. Purchase real block cheese parmesan, find a place purchase it. Sams.
