While yogurt is a healthy snack it can be expensive and come in small packages. Great Value yogurt at 5 oz is a good-sized serving. I buy 2 of these each month and they are gone quickly. The peach flavor comes through and there are bits of peach in the yogurt.
The Great Value Light Greek Peach Nonfat Yogurt is good for you because it is nonfat and light. But the thing that makes this a great product is the taste. The yogurt is so good, it could easily be from an expensive shop. You would never guess that it comes from Walmart. The peaches also add so much flavor, and they have a natural sweetness that isn't artificial. I think this is the best Greek yogurt on the market.
Great for a quick snack. I often mix Granola in with it. All flavors are good but I like the Blueberry best. Blueberry also has more fruit in it than the other flavors.
I am lactose intolerant and this yogurt doesn't upset my stomach. It is very smooth and creamy with great taste and not tart. I always buy 2 at a time to eat for breakfast or snacks.
I got the peach by mistake one time, and it has been my favorite flavor since. it tastes great and its a lot more budget friendly than the name brand.
good texture and taste for a nonfat yogurt. Low calories for yogurt. Makes a great snack. All in all I prefer the vanilla and strawberry flavors but the peach makes a pleasant change. The 4 pack is a very good value. although not all flavors are available as a 4 pack. For those of use that are lactose intolerant a little ( one cup) is safe enough but there is still lactose in yogurt and I would keep the quantity down until you determine how your body reacts. A website says there are live cultures in this yogurt but the package doesn't say so. I have tried contacting Walmart but that seems almost impossible. The point of eating yogurt is the live cultures and it is the live cultures that break down the lactose so the lack of listing is a concern. I wish Walmart would clarify the issue.
This Greek Yogurt is a joy for your tongue. It is creamy and smooth and really tastes like peaches. It is a tasty choice if you love yogurt. The price is right too!
Dear Great Value Peach Yogurt, We need to talk. At first, I thought this could be something special. You were sitting there on the shelf, looking affordable, promising all the flavor at half the price of my usual Dannon. I took a chance. I brought you home. I introduced you to my spoon. And for a brief moment… I believed. But then the truth hit. You’re not the one. The peach flavor? Barely there. Like a ghost of fruit past. The texture? Thick, but not in a cute, Greek goddess kind of way, more like “I tried to whip myself but gave up halfway through.” I deserve better. I had better. Dannon may cost more, but at least they don’t leave me emotionally confused and snack unsatisfied. So this is goodbye, Great Value Peach. It’s not that you’re awful, you’re just not enough. I need excitement, real flavor, and a smooth experience. And sadly, you’re just… a rebound yogurt. Wish you the best. I really do. But I’m going back to the one who never let me down. Emotionally lactose stressed but still fabulous
I bought this yogurt thinking it would be a low cal version of the other Great Value yogurts. I should have more carefully scrutinized the label declarations (or lack thereof). I expected the use of artificial sweeteners, and had no problem with it. What WAS a problem, this product contains NO ACTIVE CULTURES!!! I eat live culture yogurt for the protein and to help maintain a healthy gut, this product does not have the live bacteria. The product tastes good and has fruit, but I think it should have a label declaration about the lack of cultures. Walmart returned it for credit no problem. Interesting side fact...these cups, which are bigger, contain 5.3 oz. Yoplait Original, smaller cup, contain 6 oz.
I always get this Greek yogurt and I love it however, the last time I ordered it to be delivered, the expiration was already two weeks old and I didn't notice it until I was already on the last one as this was a four pack and I didn't think to check the expiration date on the package
