I enjoy this jerky and consider it a pretty good value, in comparison to the big name brands, Flavor and amount of pepper are good. Texture rates high with me! More tender and easier to chew than some other brands. Some others are like biting a hockey puck...

If you're a jerky lover and haven't tried the Great Value Peppered Jerky yet, you're missing out! I grabbed a bag on a whim during my last Walmart run, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor is on point — the pepper kick isn't too overpowering, but just enough to give it a nice spicy zing. The jerky itself is tender, not tough like some other brands I've tried, and the seasoning is well-balanced. It has that perfect chewiness without feeling like you're biting into a piece of rubber, which is a huge plus. The bag also has a decent amount of jerky inside, so you get your money's worth. It's perfect for a snack when you're on the go or if you're just craving something savory. For the price, I'd say this is a steal. National brand has better, less sugary flavor but this is superior in every other aspect to me. Very pleasantly surprised and would totally recommend!

I have to stop myself from devouring the whole bag when it comes to this specific flavor of jerky. It makes me behave like a starving, toothless dog. I recommend pairing it with pepperjack cheese for the ultimate flavor combination.

All jerky has that hard-to-chew part. I've bought this a few times always great taste, great source of protein and a good little snack. Definitely a favorite

this product has more gristle and possibly made out of a cheaper cut of meat than like say Jack Link's but you know you get what you pay for I guess you have to decide what you really can live with her live without. but that does not mean that I don't like great values many things I purchased under that name.

There are some really stringy , tough pieces that get stuck between your teeth when chewed up. They can be really hard to get out but the flavor is usually pretty good. Sometimes more peppered in one pack than another but pretty consistent overall.

it is labeled as peppered, but this is peppered to much for my taste. it is actually very hot, i could not eat it. i think if they had a regular or teriya,i i would buy more,

There was too much pepper on the jerky so it was kind of spicy. Quality was good. Quantity was excellent. And got more for my money than what I thought I would.

The packaging has changed. And so has the flavor. I used to love these; not any more. I'm not going to purchase these again. I dont like the flavor.
