If you're a jerky lover and haven't tried the Great Value Peppered Jerky yet, you're missing out! I grabbed a bag on a whim during my last Walmart run, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. this product has more gristle and possibly made out of a cheaper cut of meat than like say Jack Link's but you know you get what you pay for I guess you have to decide what you really can live with her live without. but that does not mean that I don't like great values many things I purchased under that name.

There are some really stringy , tough pieces that get stuck between your teeth when chewed up. They can be really hard to get out but the flavor is usually pretty good. Sometimes more peppered in one pack than another but pretty consistent overall.

The bag I bought was tough to chew. It was not fresh like others I've purchased.
