I love these things, have bought them 3 times now. And when this batch starts to run low, I'll be ordering another. The sort of hard outside melts away as soon as you put it in your mouth giving way to a soft puff center which also melts away. I keep them in the frig and grab one almost every time I go into the kitchen. And usually jam a few into my pocket when I'm heading out.
My kids love these for state testing at school. During testing week I buy a big tub and they take it to school. They say peppermint helps with focus, and my ADHD kiddos also do better when they have something like mints or gum when they're trying to focus. These are perfect. Maybe it's placebo, but they taste good %26 are soft- kind of melt in your mouth mints.
My 90 year old dad gives these out to everyone he meets. He has started putting several in snack size ziplock baggies and hands them out at church, doctor visits, and the senior activity center in our home town where he plays dominioes twice a week. They are perfect for seniors and children because they are soft. He is known as the "Candy Man".
Very delicous, reminds me of the mints from Bob Evans restaurants. My family enjoys them at home after dinner, less fattening than cake. Just the perfect amt. of sweet.
I absolutely LOVE these mints! However, they are pricey and wish they were a little cheaper. Other than that, they're my favorite over the other leading brand and the container they are stored in makes a great spare container for just about anything.
These mints aren't as good as Redbird or Brach's but they are much, much cheaper. They are more minty or least most of them are. There are some unwrapped, loose in the container %26 some that aren't whole mints or crushed in wrappers. Overall a better value but not as neat or consistent like the other brands. They are still good though %26 worth buying. They only come in the large bucket %26 I wish they came in smaller packages.
Soft Peppermints were available and worth the price. Good balance of peppermint flavor with sweetness. Nice quantity although size of each mint varies. Compared to other places I shopped for them, these were the most economical. I would recommend.
This candy is hard to find in other local stores or online. I just wish more care would be taken to handle gently so there wouldn't be so many broken pieces. And even though the candies are individually wrapped, many wrappers break open so the broken crumbs get spilled out into the container. A little messy, Still are delicious, but messy.
My younger son loves these and eats several every time he comes to visit. The taste and texture is perfect, but the quality control of the individual pieces themselves is very poor. Many packages contain pieces instead of just one whole unit. My son is excited because occasionally there are two pieces in one package. But we have also found empty packages. But I love my son enough to always have these around when he visits!
They are supposed to be soft puffs. disolve in your mouth. They are no longer quick to dissolve, they are too strongly favored. We have purchased for years and now they are not the same. We want the old recipe back!
