Great Value Peppermint Starlight Mints Hard Candy, 10 oz Bag

I eat six before bed while I watch tv. I don't know why or if it's just me but it keeps me full all night.I had the bad habit of getting up to eat at night. I was also a cigarette smoker. Which I was drawn to menthol flavor. These have helped me immensely. It has helped me in many ways. I tried eating only three at first but I wanted more. I added three more and six did the job. I am on a low calorie deficit which I have been on for years. They have not hurt my weight. I look forward to eating six every night. They taste amazing. I think the minty flavor is what does the trick for me.

They are what they are. You seen them 1000 times. They do the job when you've got an upset stomach, which is the main reason I eat them. I could spend the same amount on a small amount of Altoids. I'd rather get these guys get more and again they do the same job.

These peppermints. are really very good, they have a nice peppermint flavor, but it's not too strong like some.. This is the first time I have purchased this brand and I'm very pleased with it because I do have people who complain they're too strong, but these are not. They are an excellent hard candy to have around when you just want a little snack. I keep them in my purse because of diabetes. Very handy to have in case of an emergency

These were wonderful! However, it seems you have changed whoever produces your product and they are now as crappy as BRACH's peppermints. Please please please please please go back to the way they were before, without all the air in them and the jagged edges and the crumbling. I have been buying the largest 60 oz package forever., except when you're out, but I sure don't like the current ones that you're making and selling under the brand of Great Value. And, from what I read online, I'm not the only one that feels that way. You're doing a great disservice to your brand!

These are pretty good but I've had better without paying a lot for Brachs. The problem is I'm bedridden and, like many others on a fixed income, I'm also counting pennies which limits my options. Peppermint is good for so many things but the tea is too intense for me. That said , this brand of peppermint is not as flavorful as other hard candies I've tried but have to take delivery fees into accounts. I won't buy their cinnamon or butterscotch from Walmart again because of mild flavors and, in the cinnamon case, a medicinal flavor. I will buy the peppermint with natural flavoring again.

I had originally written a glowing review, then went to check something in the ingredients, and found that they had changed them all. The original that I had been using for a long time had real peppermint oil, which it no longer has, and other healthy ingredients. Now it has just corn syrup, artificial sweetner sorbital, and so on. Wish I'd checked sooner. Very disappointed Walmart. Do not recommend

I've bought this product for years and I've loved them. They open my breathing and help me clear my throat. I don't like this version of your product. The peppermint is different. It doesn't taste good or natural anymore. Also the individual pieces are wrapped in a twist closed wrapper. The original had individual heat sealed wrappers. I'm guessing Walmart has changed their manufacturer, and the new supplier makes an inferior product.

I used to buy these all the time, but you changed the formula, and they are not as good. The texture is brittle and they don't dissolve the same way. the flavor is still minty, but harsh, not the nice minty sweet flavor I am used to. I wish you would change the formula back. As i said I used to buy the extra large bag at least once a week.

I had bought this brand for years, last year I couldn't get the small bag so I had a large bag and it's lasted me all year ,I recently orderd this small bag and besides looking different ,probably because of dye issues but the taste should be there .. oh nooo disgusting not peppermint sweet at all :( I had to spit it out .. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. I will be trying a name brand now and paying more but these are changed and taste is really seriously horrible

I was so excited to try the Great Value Starlight Peppermints... And what a huge disappointment! There is barely, barely a hint of peppermint flavor. They are a regular hard candy, they melt creamy over time, but there's so very little peppermint in these candies. I was hoping for better, and have had better. I can't recommend Great Value Starlight Peppermint candies.
