Great Value Pineapple Chunks, 16 oz (Frozen)

Great Value frozen Pineapple Chunks. These came in decent sized workable chunks. Good for when you have the cravings for a recipe with pineapple as an ingredient. I got these for making a healthier homemade cottage cheese and pineapple snack. A couple of chewy pieces, but overall, uniform and well sized tasty chunks. The 16oz package is a good size.

Great value frozen items like veggies and fruits are incredible. Favorite part is that if you thaw them out, it's exactly like fresh (perfect when don't grocery shop twice a week). Pineapple chunks and the mixed fruit are all delicious frozen or thawed out. We and the kids love. Great value, great quality.

Used these up last night. They arrived frozen(no problems-for those who get delivery). : ) All faucets of the product, performed to my liking. Shapes of piece varied a bit( mostly tidbit piece- like canned tidbits). I WILL purchase these again. Used them in my beverages( no lieu of ice). Pineapple Juice(two servings of fruit that way); as well as in wine( like mine chill-that way not diluted by ice). So YES, I would recommend this product.

Great Value pineapples better than name brand the pineapples are used with my frozen spinach for smoothies in the morning taste great the texture is not shredded it feels good the texture is great the smell is wonderful and it feels good to drink something healthy in the morning smoothie with pineapple and spinach will be purchasing again

the frozen pineapple worked well for desserts like yogurt desserts and toppings on cakes and and pies and stuff like that and the pineapple usually very very good. but I do have one thing that I'd like to say that when you have recalls on vegetables that the moment you know of the recall your customer should know too and not let us buy and eat those vegetables that could harm us

If you just defrost a little bit, it tastes really good to have chilled pineapple chunks as a snack. If they are frozen solid, they are too hard to grab with a fork. They do taste really good and sometimes you want a snack that is not cookies or chips and this works really well.

The taste is very good. Just have to remember these take longer to defrost than most of the frozen fruits. I do have one dislike: quite a number of the pineapple had way too much of the core left on. It's hard and hard to chew and sometimes very fibrous and yukky. It takes a lot of time to take each piece of pineapple and cut the core off it. I sometimes use the frozen fruit in smoothies and hard part still does not break down and is very annoying!

This pineapple tastes like every other fruit but pineapple. It tastes like peaches, mangoes, strawberries, and then a slight hint of pineapple. I previously bought a bag of the mixed fruit with pineapple, strawberries, mango, and peach. With this bag of pineapples, it still tastes like it was in that bag of mixed fruit.

This purchase was a HUGE disappointment! Every piece of pineapple in the bag had hard core in it. One piece I put in my mouth seemed to be nothing BUT core. Additionally, although the juice was sweet, the fruit was tart and left a tingle on the tongue. I will not be buying this again and will have to inspect each piece of the second bag I bought before serving to anyone.

I never received the frozen fruit! I didn't realize I didn't get because I wasn't home when it was delivered. My son was. I went to get it out of the freezer, and it wasn't there. I called my son this morning and he said we never received any frozen fruit.
