Great Value Pitcher Filters Reduce Chlorine (Taste & Odor), Cadmium, Copper, Mercury & Zinc 1 pack

I bought this in the store but I wish I read this listing first. Thought I'd save a few bucks but this worked properly one time. I have to shake it every fill and now that's not even working. Plus it's not sanitary. Are you guys in charge over there blind? Why is this even on the shelves. Every dollar matters these days. Clearly you don't care. Now instead of paying less Ive paid even more.

the filter design is not the same as the previous GV pitcher filter I purchased and it's a change for the worse. this filter has terrible flow. once the water level reaches the bottom of the filter I'm often left with a top reservoir full of water that won't go through the filter until I pour some water out of a pitcher that's only half-full. I'm terribly disappointed with this product and i really hope this just a one-off fluke like a defective filter or something.

filter clogs up and does not allow water to go through. If I take it out and turn it upside down to let the charcoal loosen up, it works for about one pitcher then clogs again.

new design is terrible. flow practically stopped after only a couple of weeks. when the water level reaches the filter, it stops altogether with water still sitting in the top. The old design worked great, not this one.

When the filter actually filters it's great but when it doesn't it's awful there's a lot of times I come home from working in the sun all day and want a cold glass of water but my filter didn't filter. Water doesn't pass through it. Complete garbage I will never buy again I'd rather spend more money a filter that actually works than a filter that works 20% of the time. If it wasn't already used I'd take it back.

Sometimes it drains, sometimes it doesn't. Continuously have to remove filter and shake up the charcoal contents and it works ok for a few refills but then clogs up again. I won't be purchasing another. Still

took it on vacation to help make the water at the cabin taste better, but this didnt help at all. usually I've never had issues with this brand but this time was a no go.

It's simple, these filters don't filter. Water sits and never drips into the pitcher. It's sits for hours and doesn't drip into the filter. Can't return because the item is used. Keep your money.

Like almost all of the other reviews, it stops filtering after one fill before you need to take it out and shake it again to let the water flow. Frustrating.

This item states it's essentially equivalent to the actual brand but it doesn't work as it's intended to.
