Great Value Potato Skins, 13.5 oz (Frozen)

these were good for the price. honestly the TGIF ones are better tasting but cost a good amount more money too. These ones are pretty much the same thing and about $3 cheaper. to me, that $3 goes towards another one of these boxes and feeds my whole family a Friday night snack

These are pretty good. It's nice to have them that you can have as many as you want. Whatever time you want have a snack or add them to your meal have them for lunch. Have a good crunch to them best cooked in the oven. I think they're good for picky eaters

I really enjoy throwing a couple of these in my airfryer as an addition to whatever I'm making for a meal as well as an occasional snack. I do find that I like to add a little sour cream or Greek yogurt to them for my taste buds. I will continue buying these as they are wonderful to have around for impulse meals and guests

I have tried frozen potato skins from TGI Fridays, Great Value, Farm Rich, and Snapps and they were ALL good. But the best bang for your buck would be Great Value. I don't think I could tell them apart by taste, buy I definitely can by price, so I go with Great Value, the most affordable one.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good these were. Not stingy with the toppings either. I just add a bit of sour cream, and they are comparable to a restaurant quality appetizer. Most times, I pop a few of them in the toaster oven and they make an easy peasy worknight dinner. Very much worth the price.

These are very good. I hadn't realized my pilot light on the oven was out, %26 tried to re-light it to no avail. So, I finally tried to cook them in the microwave. I was totally shocked to find they were really good even that way. As for me, I added a bit of sour cream to mine, which made them even better. However, my boyfriend ate his as is %26 liked them very much. Good snack at a fair price. Thanks, Walmart!!

I really hate it that so many Great Value snacks have an odd number of items. I want an even number and I don't want to have to buy 2 packages to get it. What is the big deal about raising the price a little and adding 1 more item? Seriously, I Really Really REALLY HATE this! OK not that that's over I like this product, it is a good value, the skins are a nice size for the most part and there is a good amount of filling inside. The bacon has a nice flavor even though it's not like bacon you'd fry up at home, it's more like those bacon bits you buy in a jar but they have the bacon flavor. There's a good amount of cheese. The skins are alright except they're overcooked and almost mushy. I wish they where less soft. It this didn't happen because I baked them too long. It didn't take long at all for them to cook up where the cheese was all bubbly. At first I was worried I took them out too soon that the potato might not be done enough but it was. For being a generic brand and for the discount price it's acceptable. I have had name brand skins that were a better quality but you get even less skins in the package the price is double. I like them especially with other hot snacks, I like to make an appetizer plate when I'm watching a movie. It's feels like a nice little special treat and I deserve to spoil myself once in awhile. I think these would be a good appetizer to serve to guests. Buying 2 or 3 boxes isn't going to break the bank.

These potato skins are good as an appetizer or as a substitute for a baked potato at dinner. I add a little dollop of sour cream to each one. It tastes really good with the sour cream. These are convenient and easily heated up in the oven. My minor complaint is the cheese and bacon on the potato often fall off the potato skins and some re-assembly is required before heating them up.

I was mildly surprised! I put 2 of them in the microwave on defrost. Just before they were completely defrosted I turned to cook for 1 1/2 minutes. They were perfect for my taste.. I can see where oven would make them crispier but I had no problem with the final product.

I'm not a name brand snob so I really wanted to like these, but no. They did not taste good and there were only five in the box. The potatoes were small and a little mealy. If you really want a decent frozen appetizer but don't want to pay TGIF or Farm Rich prices , try the Kroger brand. They taste pretty good, lots of cheese and bacon, much better value for the money. I'm going back to those.
