The grandkids requested powdered donuts, and seeing how carbs and calories don't count when the kids are visiting, I had to get into them. It had been years since I'd eaten one. I try to eat healthy most of the time. These donuts have less powdered sugar on them than they used to. I'm ok with that. They're not as sweet or messy. I like how they're packaged 4 to a bag. They were moist and delicious.
I have bought these donuts many times for my homeless ministry %26 was always happy with them. This time, the packaging was different, probably so we could not see the product anymore - cellophane to a closed box. The powdered sugar is non-existent now %26 the donuts are just brown. So disappointed that a good product at a good price is now ruined. I will no longer buy them.
These so called "Powdered Sugar Mini Donuts" are A JOKE!! They are NOW made very tiny and there's Barely any white powder on them! They are Nothing like they use to be made!! Does Great Value need the Money and saving money by screwing their Customers?? These tiny so called Powdered Donuts are a Joke!! You DEFINITELY LOST a Customer! KARMA IS A Beeotch Great Value!!
I have been buying these for years. A box every other week. Recently they switched packaging. Maybe to hide the fact that they are no longer powder sugar? Really upsetting to open box and find bare donuts. And yet shows more calories and carbs now per nutritional information (I kept old packaging when I saw the switch to compare). Going to have to look for alternative now. These USED to be so good. Not anymore
I dont know whos making them powdered donuts but you need to hire someone who knows wth they are doin. I use to love them but now Ill have to think about it before I buy them again. Wait I know, when someone figures out how to powder them send me some free ones to make up for all the crappy ones I bought
They changed the packaging to an enclosed box and with that the quality apparently has gone down too. Got three boxes and every single one of them looks awful. Like the donuts were left in the heat and the powdered sugar melted or something. There is no way my toddler will eat them now, they were one of his safe foods to eat and these are unappetizing looking and I'm sure don't taste great. Guess I need to find another option at a different store.
opened the box and my donuts look disgusting, the clear packages have holes in them like the sealing mashine burned it and my donuts have black mold on them. they also are barely covered in powder surgar. they are not expired and the box was in good condition. very disappointed
I used to grab these for after soccer game snack bags or like a quick snack bag treat… never again. Last year they were comparable to the brand name, fresh-ish, tasty, fun treat to get as a kid. this year - totally AWFUL! There is hardly any powdered sugar, which might sound nice, but they look super unappetizing and budget. These are super oily, like leave a film on the roof of your mouth. Many had black marks on them- not moldy- more likely machine grease or something, and even in the box most were mashed. I had bought multiple boxes and all had the same issues. I understand Walmart likes to skimp and cut corners whenever to save themselves a few Pennie's, but seriously, find another way. This isn't a high quality product to begin with, so for it to be even less is just sloppy. Walmart, you make billions.
What is going on with these donuts? Great Value changed their packaging from an open box with clear cellophane so one could see the donuts inside to a solid box so that one cannot see the contents. Imagine my surprise when I opened up the box and found donuts that are more brown than white - like there's no powdered sugar. We have loved these donuts for years, and I am SO incredibly disappointed at the lack of quality control that allows these donuts to be put in stores. Do better, Great Value.
This new packaging, a solid box instead of the clear wrapped top. It allows the deception of actually buying white powdered donuts!! The entire box was packed with barely dusted cake donuts. My 93 year old mother loves white powdered donuts as a treat. She would not eat these imitations! I will not be purchasing this again.
