I love this puff pastry! My kids are adults now, but still love chocolate strudels. This dough is great and cheaper than the national brand. My daughter was so happy when I made these. Sometimes I use egg wash, but this time I painted on milk and sprinkled each one with sugar before baking. The possibilities are endless less with this pastry. Sweet or savory, it works!
This store brand is just as good as Pepperidge Farms brand. I highly recommend store brand to save money but has same taste, texture and puffiness when baked.
Great Value Pre-Rolled Puff Pastry Sheets are such a time saver and they taste and bake so nicely. They can be used in both sweet and savory dishes. They have such a flaky, buttery texture. They make anything taste or look like you spent hours making whatever sweet or savory dish you use them for. Whatever way you go with your filling, these puff pastry sheets will enhance your masterpieces and save you hours of making the dough.
I just found this product and I'm so excited. It's a great alternative to the brand-name version. It bakes just like it should. Right texture and taste. I'll be using this from now on.
this is my first time using puff pastries. the recipe I used said to do a egg wash and I was out of eggs . I used butter instead. the tops did not brown like to videos I have watched, but it tasted really good. nice and flaky. will buy again
Just thaw, cut the sheet into 4"x4" squares, load them, fold into the shape of a triangle, and follow the cooking instructions. I loaded them with leftover instant mashed potatoes and they came out very good.
These are fun to make all kinds of stuffed goodies, savory or sweet. They hold up well and taste delicious. I love that I can store them in my freezer 😋
I have tried every brand of puff pastry that Walmart sells. This Great Value brand works just as well as %26 yields more then the more expensive name brands. Try making Palmier cookies with this. Delish!
It was horrible. It tastes ok on the very top, but the inside/underneath was very gummy, and I baked it for much longer than recommended. Very weird texture. Not what puff pastry should be at all.
Sadly, the quality is so poor, it tore and ruined my recipe. Extremely thin and just not right. I would not purchase ever again. Pay up for quality and choose Pepperidge Farm.
