Absolutely love these bagels. Lived and worked in New York City for nearly 30 years, and this was the first bagel that I bought outside the city that even came close to the Jewish deli bagels in New York City. Highest recommendation. Great price. Terrific value.
These cinnamon raisin bagels are delicious. Definitely ad tasty as anything I can buy in the fresh bakery section of the supermarket. Honestly, I'd wish the crust would be a bit more crispy but I'm willing to live with that tiny trade off for these which are less than 1/3 the cost of the supermarket bagels.
There is a wide variety of bakery products labeled "cinnamon raisin" but for us the question is exactly how much cinnamon and how many raisins? Some of us like more cinnamon and others want more raisins. We think these have the perfect balance in flavor and they toast beautifully. Just a spread of butter and you're all set!
Overall these are pretty good. There are a lot of raisins in the bread, overall the bagel itself is slightly sweet. I got these specifically to kill a cravingaI had for cream cheese on a toasted bagel, and my goal was reached. Yes I have simple goals in life. But note..these toast super fast, so watch it closely or set the toaster lower than you usually would. I used a toaster oven with no timer, it was in for 2 and a half minutes and the things burned. The price was good, the craving is gone, they are now waiting to be thinly sliced, dipped in a batter and used for french toast.
To start, Great Value cin-raisin bagels are yummy. Add they leave you feeling full in a healthy way, and at half the price. Walmart continues to establish itself as a leader against competitors. It can't be any clearer than munching on one of these. I freeze mine so I have tasty, bulky choices all month long. They make a dollar last longer and longer in such a fun way!
I love the great value bagels. The cinnamon raisin is slightly sweet, not overly sweetened. I love them toasted with butter or cream cheese. They are always soft on the inside but had that slight chewy outside like a bagel should have. I get these all the time. They are a great price, especially since everything else seems to be twice the price now, if not more.
This was my first time purchasing Walmart's cinnamon raisin bagels. I prefer cinnamon without raisins so I usually purchase name brand for this reason only but these were much better the the other two name brand bagels I have purchased in the past are a couple dollars less. Give them a try.
I eat a buttered toasted raisin bagel every morning on which I sprinkle Cinnamon *Sugar (actually *Great Value Artificial Sweetener that I have mixed together)..... I like the texture of these bagels better than more expensive ones which I often find to be too 'doughy' for my liking.....not these though. Great Value is RIGHT!!
They're very thin and even though they say they're pre-sliced, they aren't. There's just a tiny little cut on two sides of it. They're OK to eat if there's nothing else, but I really prefer the Bubba's brand. They're bigger bagels and they are cut much farther through. They just leave to a little spot you can pull apart with your fingers. And they have more blueberries in them.
I wanted a bagel last night so I toasted one of the cinnamon raisin ones. They were horrible so now I'm feeding them to the birds I'm sorry but I just don't like them. Some people might I don't I bought four packages but I won't buy them again sorry.
