I prefer to buy my orange juice frozen. Because, I only use one serving a bday. If I bought fresh orange juice already squeezed orange juice. It would not work for me. There is a possibility that it might go bad. Using frozen fresh orange juice works for me. It has the right sweetness; it's not too tart. It's just right. I feel I am saving money by using this frozen orange juice. The brand is excellent. The taste is excellent. Economy wise it works for me. My complexion is better because the vitamin C. Helps with skin issues. Drinking this does not elevate my sugar level.. Plus vitamin C helps prevent COLDS/FLU .
We love this juice , it's a must have in our house daily. My son has to have this, so I just keep in freezer and pull them out as I need to. I do have to admit that he likes it much better when I add a lil sweetener to it, nothing crazy however it really helps with the lil bitterness that oranges typically have. A lil sweet never hurts anyway!
Almost, finished with the container of this juice. I take out spoonfuls of it; and, mix with water for Quick glass of juice( or Adult Beverage) ; ) Works out great for me. Haven't run into anything I don't care for. So, yes I would recommend this product. Note: if you want it a little sweeter, you can squirt a little grenadine(looks pretty on the bottom) or some agave, mixed in. ; )
I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know how I feel about this product, so here it is. Back in the day when I was growing up, we could get most any juice frozen and concentrated. It was great to just add water to the container and mix it up. That was so convenient, not to mention being cheaper, too. You don't seem to find this frozen juice any more. What happened, is this process not cost effective or is it just something that people don't do anymore?
I once heard that OJ is cut with grapefruit juice . This stuff tastes like that is a fact. I buy it because it is one of the cheaper brands and, because I don't drink a whole lot of OJ. It doen require more sugar or sweetener to make it taste right to me. But in rething the cost savings, this old fuy is wondering if there is still a savings.
I like the taste, and the price is right, but as long as other brands of FCOJ (Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice) still coming the cardboard and metal containers, because of the danger of microplastics I will no longer buy this or any other product where liquid comes in plastic containers.
The last two cans tasted like they had been left out so long they melted, went bad, then were shoved back in the freezer days later. They were so nasty I couldn't take more than a sip of them. So bitter it tasted like unsweetened grapefruit just that had turned. Disgusting.
I was surprised, generally I like Great Value products but I was disappointed in this one. This orange juice is a bit more tart than I like, and, once you mix it up, it goes "off" rather quickly - turning foamy! Hmmm. Plus, it has doubled in price since I first started buying it. I'm not sure I'd buy it again.
While this concentrate does make good tasting orange juice, the packaging is extremely difficult to open. The pull tab can be almost impossible to open and will breaking, leaving you no choice, but to pry the lid off with a screwdriver — I did this. If you have difficulty opening moderately tight lids and other packaging avoid this. Additionally, the packaging is all plastic.
taste is noticeably off color is closer to brown without adding water, these may have been refrozen I've decided to go back to the smaller more expensive version of fresh orange juice
