Great Value Queso Quesadilla Shredded Cheese, 16 oz Bag

Thank you for finally getting this item into my store! I've seen TikTok videos where people use it, so I knew it existed. This melts very nicely for quesadillas, without running out onto my griddle. Tastes great! Is delicious for cheesy quesadillas, and is a perfect complement to whatever protein you like. This is going to be my go to, so please keep it in my store!

Delicious with smooth creamy texture Put in chimichangas and it melted so easily and tasted great. Used burritos shells. So fresh! Great flavor. Sprinkle more on top of chimichangas along with sour cream, salsa and it made them look “chef created ;-) ”Love this!

I had ordered shredded Monterey Jack cheese but due to it being sold out I agreed to a substitution with this quesadilla cheese. I was surprised how good it was. I actually prefer the texture, taste and melting quality of this quesadilla cheese over the Monterey Jack. Would highly recommend.

This could seem kinda weird, but, it really isn't. Someone else always makes my breakfast for me but, I influence what is made and the specific ingredients used. So, part of that breakfast is often a grilled cheese sandwich, 100% Whole Wheat Bread with cheese on it. That's part of the meal. If I left it up to them the cheese would be the blazè yellow American cheese that is kinda tasteless, unless you double the cheese, or more. I like thinking that I'm just a bit more refined than that, and at 67yo, I'd rather continue to put quality into this body's engine. When they're made with this, and other Great Value cheeses that I buy (to keep the variety up) the nuances of flavor permeate your mouth and taste buds delectably deliciously flavorfully enjoyable. I buy: Swiss, Cheddar (sharp and extra sharp), Jalapeño Jack, and others. Yes, I recommend this cheese, this brand, and, I thank God for Walmart, Walmart , and delivery! Nuff Said

I didn't realize there were other cheeses that stretch and chew with the satisfaction of mozzarella. This was a real treat when I broiled La Banderita Tosdadas with a layer of this cheese, some turkey pepperoni and halved grape tomatoes. Topped with guacamole and boy was that good! I ordered the 8 oz bag, received the 16 oz bag but I will definitely use this up. The price is good.

best cheese for making quesadillas or any Mexican dish really this is the bag I always buy always look for at the store I love making chicken quesadillas and this always melts down really nice in the tortilla and taste as good as any other quaso cheese you can find

Actually is a great value! This white cheese has no dyes, but does have minimal preservatives to keep it fresh. Block cheese is preferred, but often spoils before it's finished. This has good protein and calcium percentage, taste, and texture, with exceptional melting properties.

Once we discovered this white cheese it's the only one we buy. It's no good and mild and melts amazingly. I do wish it came in the smaller packs though.

It melts nicely and is creamy. However, the flavor is a bit too subtle, even for Quesadilla cheese. I still buy this product because it is a good value and we don't use it enough to complain (or stop buying it altogether). We don't use it on anything that requires that the flavor of the cheese be more prominent than it is.

Great cheese and a great price, but material defects in the bag every single time we buy any Hreat Value shredded cheese: The female zipper pouch lining pulls away from the wall, making it impossible to stay sealed. if this doesn't happen, moisture in the bag regardless of moisture control in a brand new refrigerator - with proper moisture control and temperature settings engaged - eventually causes the cheese to become sticky against the bag and start to spoil early. opening the bag can also be difficult with the zip rip system, due to cheap manufacturing glitches: the rip either misaligns on the other end; or, or the rip completes higher than where the bag is actually separated at an opening. Wal-Mart has a serious quality control program problem with their cheese manufacturer that they need to address, because there is one problem if not more with every bag of cheese.
