These tortillas do well for individual use or in a dish using many. Uses like in sour cream chicken enchilada with black olives sour cream with seasoning hatch green chili or not, these work. A tortilla with cheese melt in microwave is ok Tried a tortilla stove top with only a mess as it stuck to the surface for a peel off throw away. Fiber is just a litt le. Kids that can use a microwave might like a quesadilla with cooked meat cheese refried beans spooned onto the tortilla with seasoning for a dinner made without Mom on a ceram ic stoneware plate so long as it kid understands it cooks very quick to heat it all.
Love! I never knew I could buy these until a couple months ago and it's a game changer when coming to making tacos! I I've been making homemade cheese roll ups tacos all kinds of things in these tortillas flour tortillas. they are so much better when you cook them yourself it does not take too much time about 20 seconds each. I have been obsessed with these ever since I found them!
A bit smaller than comparable soft taco size uncooked tortillas, but cooks and tastes great. I use it to make tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Decent nutrition like calories and fiber.
These tortilla cook up really well. Fresh and hot. Try cooking in butter on a med-low heat. So Good.
Price is slightly higher at Walmart than at another store I buy these at but not enough to dissuade me from buying it at Walmart. Its quality, value and taste is as good as any although I don't care much for the packaging. . specifically the color of the packaging. silly I know but it's garish and I truly don't like looking at it.
You can tell this is a store brand product. They just aren't the same as other products I have tried like Tortilla Land. These stuck together alot more than i would have liked.
I enjoy a good fresh tortilla, that's why I buy the kind you need to cook. Decided to give the Great Value brand a try and was very disappointed. First of all, the tortillas were extremely hard to separate. As careful as I was, they ended up tearing or getting a hole in the middle. Secondly, there was no taste, very bland. Lastly, they did not taste fresh. I would not recommend these tortillas
I am sorry but I do not know where these good reviews are coming from. The tortilla land tortillas are SO much better!! and it's rare that I take the time to review a food item but this is how passionately I feel about them lol. They don't cook up evenly on medium heat but they burn super fast on anything higher. As soon as they call they instantly begin to crack and shred apart. Don't waste your money... buy the tortilla land ones and you won't regret it
I have been using TortillaLand tortillas for many years without any issues. However, today Walmart delivered tortillas that contained mold, which was very disappointing and concerning.
I ordered for delivery for already cooked tortillas and these are what the shopper believed was a similar item. These tortillas stuck together couldn't get them separated so mine were parts and pieces! Super disappointed!
