Great Value Real Bacon Pieces, 2.5 oz

Great for sprinkling on salads or as a baked potato topper. Not the real deal but so much less work than using real bacon . The taste of real bacon is sacrificed for the Convenience of eliminating the frying, chopping %26 clean up. Flavor is ok but you know you would use real bacon if no work was involved.

I like really crispy bacon, so I will "recook" this before adding it to an omelet, or anything else I might add bacon bits to - including salad. This is in the "not crispy enough" range for me, but would be perfect for almost anyone else. The bacon itself is quite tasty.

These real bacon bits are so good! I keep them on hand for anything I want to add a little extra flavor to! Salads, chicken salad, quesadillas, pastas they are so good on anything that would pair well with bacon! The great value brand is salty, smoky and I crisp it a little in the microwave before I top things with it! So good! Best price too!

I like having the great value bacon pieces on hand. They are so convenient to add to recipes that call for bacon. Instead of having to cook a few slabs I just toss in the bacon pieces and it's so fast and taste great. I add them to broccoli salad, omelettes, green beans.

This is so great for a little cheat when you dont feel like frying bacon. I usually add this to scrambled eggs with some cheese on top. You can throw it on a croissant for a breakfast sandwich or wrap it up in a tortilla for a warm breakfast burrito. Fast and easy.

I recommend these bacon pieces for all kinds of dishes. we put them in breakfast burritos. and in salads and even cook with them and other meals. they add that smokey bacon flavor to anything you put them in. and they're always fresh tasting. was open be sure to refrigerate so they last longer. we highly recommend them

I guess you can call this pieces of bacon fat. I have to out them in the microwave to crisp them up. The packaging stating real bacon is deceiving. It has a lot of fat in it. I wish they would offer the lg back of Horemel real bacon when ordering to be delivered. I actually saw it in the store yesterday. ugh!

I've always trusted Great Value products to be as good as the top brands. In this case, I was wrong. I thought something was wrong when I felt the package and it felt like a powder substance. When I opened it, found there was a lot of powdered bacon. The bigger pieces looked like rendered bacon fat. I will no longer buy this particular product under the name of Great Value.

I can see how other people might enjoy these bacon bits, but I was not one of them. I am picky about my bacon, I'll admit. I don't like fatty bacon AT ALL and only eat it if it's extremely crispy. I expected these to be crunchy like “Bacon Bits”, so I was immediately disappointed. The taste of the bacon was fine, but the soft texture made me throw the whole package in the garbage

Make sure you check your drive up/pick up orders before you leave the store. I'm missing an item AND they put the Italian parsley in my order instead of cilantro. This is the 3rd time they've screwed up my order. I will not be ordering for Walmart anymore.
